I'm in my 80s.......saw this about 50 years ago; the concept was remarkable without special effects, to bad they don't make em like they use to with great story lines. I miss these old sci-fi's and the acting was much better in the 40s, 50s and 60s.

I expected something cheesey, but it surprised me! No special effects to speak of, yet it presented the concept very well! Bravo!

I must have been about 7 years old when my father took me to see this in the cinema! (was that even legal?). When he parked the car on our return home I remember looking up at the cold starry sky and feeling really creeped-out! Blankets were over my head in bed that night!

This was surprisingly good. Part horror, part thriller, in a science fiction wrapper. A well structured script with a great ending, too.

I think the star of this film was that incredible house! Did you notice how deep that pool was? How long the drive up to the house was? Wow! Even if they used special effects, that house and grounds was spectacular!
