There's a coincidence. I was typing "I bet it's a Birmingham car", just as Chris said it ! Small Heath Special, innit !
My wife has a 500e. I thought it was a bad idea to buy it, but it's the most fun you can have with your trousers on!
It'll be interesting to see you work on a non-Stellantis EV in the future, given the aggro you had with the 600. I'm impressed that you're taking on EVs and learning from them and about them, because they're not going to go away - you adapt or die and I applaud you for your work. Well done, gentlemen.
Aiden is really good. He came and made me a spare key a few weeks ago. 2nd time using him. Top lad.
As modern cars get more and more complicated it's great to see independent guys like Zee and Haidan developing their extensive knowledge and skills and providing such great value service for their customers compared to many main dealers.
What in the cut and shut world of Birmingham's finest car accident repair centres is THAT!!!!
Correct, don't ever by a car from Birmingham or Bradford 👌 I got caught out in Bradford and nearly in Birmingham by the incomers... I also bought a Mercedes with a failed low mileage engine (knowingly and cheap) from a dealer... And surprise surprise registered in Birmingham and clearly thrashed and engine not maintained... I suggest checking previous owner names.
Just a quick one chaps. With EV’s they need a fully charged 12V battery or they flip out. I learned this the hard way with a Renault Zoe. I was on the verge of ordering all manner of parts mine until I put a new 12V battery in it. The reason is that all manner of safety equipment including the brake servo etc rely on a healthy 12V battery. I’d stick a fully charged battery in it and clear the codes again before you open your wallet.
Good evening Rob and Chris, I think that whatever you buy is good content for your viewers. You and Chris will do the best you can to get the best result you can for your business. Thanks for taking the time to upload another video. Ged.
I dodged a bullet out of Sandwich not that long ago - Got caught up and thought “That’s cheap” it just came up as I was waiting for another one - The seller wanted another £800 I did a check on it and boy had it been played with compared to the first time it went through there - I stood my ground praying they didn’t accept my bid - Longest two days of my life 😅 Love the channel guys !
Birmingham, Bradford or Luton.
If anyone can save the Fiat 500 and restore it to its full pristine condition it’s you guys. Team Salvage Rebuild UK👏🏽👏🏽
Is there no way you take on a apprentice to learn everything from Chris because that guy got more skills than any other mechanic I've seen
Its got Birmingham back street garage written all over it, With that said lovely little car and now its in the right hands and will be put back together and done right so will absolutely make a cracking little car for someone when its done. :)
Never buy a used car from Birmingham, I'm from the West Midlands and it's common knowledge Birmingham has dodgy people selling dodgy cars.
The letter c after the lot number on the window sticker means it’s a private entry. Worth knowing for anyone who doesn’t know that. It basically means avoid at all costs unless mega cheap.
Hi Rob and Chris, well, bit messy this one, but at least you have good content and we have good viewing. Aiden is cool a nice guy, strolls in, plugs it into the ethernet and it's sorted, (well his bit is). Look forward to the progress on this car. Alex.
It might be a lemon gents but it makes for good content for sure. Everyone loves seeing good coming from bad. Take care. 👍
Worryingly, people like that might be putting cars back on the road !
