As modern cars get more and more complicated it's great to see independent guys like Zee and Haidan developing their extensive knowledge and skills and providing such great value service for their customers compared to many main dealers.
My wife has a 500e. I thought it was a bad idea to buy it, but it's the most fun you can have with your trousers on!
There's a coincidence. I was typing "I bet it's a Birmingham car", just as Chris said it ! Small Heath Special, innit !
It'll be interesting to see you work on a non-Stellantis EV in the future, given the aggro you had with the 600. I'm impressed that you're taking on EVs and learning from them and about them, because they're not going to go away - you adapt or die and I applaud you for your work. Well done, gentlemen.
Aiden is really good. He came and made me a spare key a few weeks ago. 2nd time using him. Top lad.
What in the cut and shut world of Birmingham's finest car accident repair centres is THAT!!!!
If anyone can save the Fiat 500 and restore it to its full pristine condition itโs you guys. Team Salvage Rebuild UK๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
Just a quick one chaps. With EVโs they need a fully charged 12V battery or they flip out. I learned this the hard way with a Renault Zoe. I was on the verge of ordering all manner of parts mine until I put a new 12V battery in it. The reason is that all manner of safety equipment including the brake servo etc rely on a healthy 12V battery. Iโd stick a fully charged battery in it and clear the codes again before you open your wallet.
Never buy a used car from Birmingham, I'm from the West Midlands and it's common knowledge Birmingham has dodgy people selling dodgy cars.
I dodged a bullet out of Sandwich not that long ago - Got caught up and thought โThatโs cheapโ it just came up as I was waiting for another one - The seller wanted another ยฃ800 I did a check on it and boy had it been played with compared to the first time it went through there - I stood my ground praying they didnโt accept my bid - Longest two days of my life ๐ Love the channel guys !
The letter c after the lot number on the window sticker means itโs a private entry. Worth knowing for anyone who doesnโt know that. It basically means avoid at all costs unless mega cheap.
Correct, don't ever by a car from Birmingham or Bradford ๐ I got caught out in Bradford and nearly in Birmingham by the incomers... I also bought a Mercedes with a failed low mileage engine (knowingly and cheap) from a dealer... And surprise surprise registered in Birmingham and clearly thrashed and engine not maintained... I suggest checking previous owner names.
It might be a lemon gents but it makes for good content for sure. Everyone loves seeing good coming from bad. Take care. ๐
Good evening Rob and Chris, I think that whatever you buy is good content for your viewers. You and Chris will do the best you can to get the best result you can for your business. Thanks for taking the time to upload another video. Ged.
All credit to you guys for taking this Fiat on. It will be freat by the time you are finished with it.๐๐๐
Birmingham, Bradford or Luton.
This should be reported to copart to stop them doing it again. We don't know the full story but if someone is buying cars from copart and doctoring them up they should loose their account.
Its got Birmingham back street garage written all over it, With that said lovely little car and now its in the right hands and will be put back together and done right so will absolutely make a cracking little car for someone when its done. :)
I think Robs is doing Chris's head in ๐ he's jumping off one subject to another
