Jesus Christ, people in these comments cannot just hear someone else's opinion or else they'll go bonkers with rage.

I loved your Video, it's an absolutely valid critique

@samanthaw9838

great video, i was feeling this way but didn’t have the words to make sense of it. it feels shallow and empty because it wants the props for being subversive and critical without doing the legwork or committing to the stances they put forward

@rozohwell

Controversial opinion but DPW is a bad film. I watched it in the cinema and loved it but when I rewatched it, every joke, twist and plot point fell so incredibly flat. There's absolutely nothing propping this film up that warrants a rewatch

@imhappy._.

The thing is, it's not a parody, it's a standalone movie. With zero context, anyone would be able to enjoy it. Ryan making fun of disney is just extra. It made over a billion dollars not because they tried to parody disney but because it's a good movie. It might be a bad parody but it's because it's not meant to be one.

@rae5164

Super interesting video! I honestly agree with most points you covered. Even though the big critique the comments here have is "but its not a parody," the movie still tries to act like a parody at times. I loved the movie but it always slightly irked me while watching it and I couldn't exactly pinpoint why but I think you nailed it with this video. The movie itself is what Deadpool tries to make fun of, but it's not done in an deep and intentional way. While it's funny and can "make jokes other disney movies can't" it is at its core, just another Marvel movie with no /true/ self-awareness. Will I continue to rewatch it though? Absolutely, it is still a fun watch. =)

@That-guy-there1

Idk if it was or wasn’t trying to parody I just thought it was fun. It was fun to see a universe that is mostly taken as serious be reduced to a joke. It’s a breath of fresh air in the hero genre. Even if it’s a bad parody it’s fun factor makes up for any bad parody

@technoblaaade2835

when I first saw that I found it fun but honestly the story was just a vehicle for the tired looking to the camera Ryan Reynolds jokes.

@Miss.information_Lover

"40 shades of Grey (dp3) fails as a horror movie (parody)" well no shit it's not a horror movie.(parody)

@thamster55

Good video man. Ignore the Disney stans.

@arachno1011

Great video!

@Bonesph

It's not so much what he says but how he says it and keeps saying it when others have had too much of it.

@moonlightacid367

the desperation for views is so pathetic, are movies not allowed to be fun anymore, this guy must be real fun at parties

@petecoogan

It's not a parody. It doesn't mOck the genre. You don't understand the film
