Interesting video. Just getting into value investing, and it's eye-opening how many gems are trading below their intrinsic value. If you were starting with $90,000, which stocks would you pick to aim for solid returns?

@margaretrudd-d5m

SCHD is by far my largest holding with my share count approaching 8000. I don't expect more than 5% growth going forward. S&P's historic return is closer to 9%. If SCHD matches that return we can assume 4% yield + 5% growth = 9%. We have been in an unprecedented bull cycle since SCHD's inception (13 1/2 years). It's not going to continue like that. We have been spoiled

I' ve got £100k to invest. I want to build a nest egg for when I'm older. I want to know if it's a good idea to add all my savings into a long term ETF, set and forget Come back in 20-30 years, instead of 250-300 DCA every month. Which ETF would you recommend.?

@Davies-Edward00

I’ve tried investing in various things that didn't work out as I hoped. Now, I'm looking at ETFs as a more reliable option. What are the best 5 ETFs for a rookie looking to invest a lump sum? let's say $120k

@Rogerederer-b2r

There is obviously a compounding effect in the very long term for large capital, but is not "automatic", and with the wrong strategies you can even lose more than you have, and selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $$$ portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies.

@CalebMartin2U

I sometimes wonder how successful investors manage to accumulate enormous wealth from their investment endeavours because I am an avid investor. I currently have equity from a recent house sale that exceeds $545K, but I'm not sure what to do with my money next. Is now the right moment to buy stocks, or should I wait for a better opportunity?

@KarnageGaming

VOO -30% (s&p500)
SCHD - 30% (Dividends)
QQQ - 30% (Growth)
individual stocks -10%

i like to invest occassionally in up and comers. regardless of if its a stock, etf or crypto. you just never know. im happy to lose a little for the potential of gaining alot. i wont always win doing this but smart choices it just feels good whwn u see it pay off.

@andreacosta5647

🇵🇹 I’m so excited I found you!! How about a 3 fund 50+ trying to fiercely CATCH UP??? Any recommendations? Love the galo! 🐓

@gshew1871

My 4 ETF holdings
SCHD
SCHG
FDVV
SPYI, distributions are ROC so more tax efficient.

Thank you for your insights!

@raykrv6a

I'm retired and live off SS and pension. So i invest in subset S&P like PRCOX, and FELC. Both are doing well and historically been the S&P over. i bought into VDIGX, but looking to move the money into something else. Maybe SCHD. I also have 5 monthly dividend payers. Used to own about 60 stocks, but life's easier just being in ETF and mutual funds that are 5 star and perform well.

@RobertWinter-y4e

Alright, the time has come! Been hoarding cash like a doomsday prepper—got $134K chilling in my emergency fund. Finally ready to put this money to work, but let’s be real... where do I even start? Stocks? Gold? Some fancy ETF? Need a head start before 2025 runs me over.

@ocilassolrac14

I have seen this video many times, it gets better every time I watch it. 30 Growth-30 Foundational-40 Dividend

@seracina6110

thank you so much for the info!! can you do the same about the EU ones, please?

@EBMB21

Love your rooster! Saw them when I was in Porto and Lisbon, Portugal. I came home with a lady sardine vendor ceramic figurine and some other stuff.

@ChristopherAbelman

Buying of ETFs is easy, but buying the right one without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence which is best to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $260K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

@juliemkirwin

Summary:
- schd 50%, voo 25% , qqq 25%
- foundational, safety and consistent through all markets; voo tracks s&p500 and vti tracks total us stock market.
- very safe, cash flow and solid dividend etf; vym , schd
- growth etfs ; vug , schg, qqqm , mgk
- highest reward but highest risk> qqqm

How much to invest ?
- more on growth etf if you want most money in fast time
- if you want safety and cash dividends; more on dividends etf
- 1/3 in each category
- DCA every single month

@kishannayak5773

I use this portfolio for myself. SCHD + SCHG + VOO. I add some SCHH too in my IRAs. Super simple!

@MrScottyMMiller

I really enjoy this channel, but everything talked about is long term investing. At 63 years old now, what is long term? In a baseball game, you begin the game with a pitcher called The Opener. But in the late innings you have to switch to a Closer. What is your 3 ETF strategy for the Closer?

@abufarhaz2306

Professor G, your explanations are incredibly clear and insightful. I find myself eagerly anticipating each new video you post on YouTube. Thank you for dedicating your time to enhancing our financial literacy.

@johnnyjj8633

I buy VOO, VTI, QQQM, VGT and SCHD every werk
