I would never do a government job or a contract job with the government because every 4 years administration can change show me the layoffs needs to happen because the government is too big is stupidity working in the government employee because you know every 4 years you can change a different administrations that is just that is the flat out stupidity

Some say life is a journey and yes that is so very very true. I just retired from Federal service but have been laid off from the government and many civilian jobs to boot. Never felt good but I always found the next job. My biggest regret is not saving enough and not choosing a Roth IRA. Those tax free withdrawals would have been so sweet.😮😮😮
