@groovydjs

When I see an old Peavey in a thumbnail...I just have to click on it. Nice job on reviewing this little guy and always great to see you Phil. Scott Grove

@jimcoop5663

Peavey put guitars and amps in the hands of the common man.
   Great quality for the price

@jimtraverse8099

I've had a T-15 and a Decade amp since the early 80s. Never letting them go.

@mikelamb4528

I love when you examine these older guitars.

@acewilson9343

Peavey is probably the most slept-on gear out there. They’ve made some killer stuff over the years.

@suzannecoholic1467

"Got my 1st real 6-string at the 5 and dime...." The vintage sound of that Peavey warms my heart! Puppies and Kittens! I'm in love with that 'little guitar' and amp!

@BrentAdams

The Peavey Amp ...... was simply perfect on this little demo.

@mattmasonoklahoma

Threw a lotta newspapers to get mine🤠

@debbiem-e8g

Hartley Peavey was definitely a genius.
Highly underrated engineer and desiigner.

@td7426

My favorite Peavey headstock design

@markvonwisco7369

I have a T-15 with a natural finish and a maple fretboard. I also have the original case with the built-in amp. It's a fun little guitar. Those super ferrite pickups sound great. I also have a Peavey Patriot with a natural finish mahogany body, maple fretboard, same pickup and control layout. The Patriot has a Gibson scale. Fun fact about the wiring - the middle switch position turns the single pickups into a wide field humbucker. Peavey did a lot of interesting wiring configurations, especially in the T-series instruments.

@Carlvincent100

I got that for Christmas in 1983. Awesome player

@brianasbury2493

My first guitar was a Peavey Predator circa 1985-1st generation. Sadly it was stolen in college. Picked same one up on Reverb for $250 5 years ago. Modded the pickups and now one of my best playing guitars. Love Peavey!

@homemedia7892

Please do more of the used older but affordable gear. More Peavey guitars, I personal think they are the biggest underrated guitar manufacture.

Great video. My best to you and your family Phil.

@DanielBobke

Just worked on a T-60 for a customer (needed a new switch for the phase switching). Man, that was a heavy beast. It was over 10 pounds...just a solid multipiece slab of ash. The pickups sound really good and the phase switching and the way you go between split coils and full humbuckers with the tone knobs is unique. They probably could drop the weight by a couple of pounds by using plastic knobs, a thinner neck plate, and a lighter bridge. If you have a good strap, these are fun guitars to play.

@marcoangels

Almost cried when I saw this. My first electric guitar was a new T-15 from Clawson's Music in Corpus Christi, TX. I got for my 14th birthday and I can't begin to describe the joy I felt.

@wisdomoverfear2685

That thing sounds incredible. I'll be looking for one. It's got it's own unique "quack" thing going on ...great tone.

@AndrewAdkins-k7t

Peavey played a big role in most of our lives as young musicians. I came to own the 1985 Peavey Heritage VTX that my guitar teacher gave lessons on for years. I love that amp!

@johtohoennfan45

NOTHING feels like a T-15. Saw one with my friend in our hometown Guitar Center. He was in the market for a short-scale electric at the time. I put my hands on it, gave it a strum, and said "DUDE... You HAVE to buy this thing." His is the dark sparkle brown model, I think he paid around $370-400 about two or three years ago. One of the coolest guitars I've ever played, great feel and sound. It's always what I pick up when I go to his place.

@9999plato

My first good instruments were a Peavey T60 guitar and the T40 bass. That T60 played like a dream. My instructor was always trying to get me to trade.He was a Jazz guy.
