You're one of my favorite YouTubers ... cause your videos are a mix of tech and comedy ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

@ikabbite

Yo who else felt the beat boxing!?!!

@tiredboard

I find it funny that since he's alone, for the lonely scenes, he has to set up the camera, go back, walk across really slowly like he's depressed, then probably run back to see how good the footage was.

@TheNexGFXDesigner

You should put your videos at half speed, then have everyone watch at 2x speed to get better ad revenue.

Iโ€™ve been watching your videos in reverse, newest first, and itโ€™s nice to see how far youโ€™ve gone

@jackklnet2458

You type hella fast.

@Aguycalledmax

Really liked this video. As a computer science student, these kind of videos are so good for motivation to become a better programmer. Seeing your processes when making these kinds of projects is really nice to see and is really helpful. More videos like these please <3

What's the appeal of vi? It seems to me that editors like VSCode, Sublime Text and Atom are far superior. They are designed for writing code and color code based on different languages and have extensions so you can customize. They'll warn of syntax errors, spelling errors, variables not in use, and so on. They'll also autoformat, lint check, bracket match, auto-complete code, intellisense, auto-rename matching tags, auto-close tags, and so much more. I don't think vi does any of that, plus you have to change modes between insert, overwrite and command mode. If you forget your in command mode and start typing, suddenly you can find you've executed a long set of commands putting yourself in a weird state.

@williamzheng7858

Your videos are getting better and better! It's comedy + education!

@KAYMOofficial

I think my favorite part of this is seeing that you still looking at w3school and have a job at a great company. It's cool that you showed that, 'cause I thought eventually I would have to know everything that I do inside and out which would be pretty hard. I've been coding for 3 years now and I still look up stuff all the time. There's just always new stuff coming out or you're always learning some new technology, framework, or library. Most of the information is only seconds away anyways. Obviously I'm not saying it's not important to learn. It is. But I think what I'm trying to convey through my clearly adhd rant is that my adderall is wearing off and .. oh yeah. People aren't perfect.

@jZx09

Man, I wish I came across your channel a few years ago when I took my first basic coding class. It would've motivated me to pursue something related/similar instead of changing majors to something I'm not even putting to use right now -.- that's my fault though smh.

@nobodys2358

Hey Joma, you rock!

Some things you can use to become even more alpha male VIM user and attract every girl nearby:

6:44 โ€“ instead of backspacing from one quote to another, put cursor inside quotes, then ci' (:help text-objects) and then type, old quotes content will be replaced with your typing.
9:02 โ€“ very dangerous. If she see you selecting the same piece of code again, bro, you'll loose all chances. Use gv to reselect it, trust me. (:help gv)

@anuragmalviya2397

It's quite funny and entertaining seeing how he adds various elements of fun without making complications.
