I get the point that you don't like the idea of "HEAVY" motorcycles. Let me give you a slightly different perspective on that based on spending 4 years as a Police Officer and then 18 years as a Paramedic scraping motorcycle riders off the pavement and rushing them to the hospital. I realized after a little while that riders driving machines that were less than 500 pounds tended to suffer much more trauma. My experience and personal theory are simple. Bykes in that weight class or less simply don't have enough mass to trade off with the average car. I ran thousands of motorcycle accidents in my career, and I could practically count the number of critically injured or fatal accidents on motorcycles that were 600 pounds or more on one hand. I had one accident where a small compact car drove through a red light and was T-Boned on the driver's side door by a full dressed out heavy cruser. That accident didn't go well for the car driver, and the motorcycle rider suffered no injuries. Give me a big heavy cruser every time.

The Honda Rune is a PERFECT bike, don't be brainwashed by fools. The weight of the bike is necessary to ride the super-breezy highways - that would throw you off, if the bike was light-weight. Are you kidding me ?????When resting, a motorcycle is heavy -- but when the power is turned on, the motorcycle becomes light as a feather. How can you miss that feature? = unless you have no knowledge of motorcycles, whatsoever.

Im a experienced rider. Ive had big bikes, Have a CBR600 at the moment. But the best fun was had with small bikes and a group of mates on equal machines. Having power, makes speed easy, Needing to use the gear box and keep the momentum to be fast is far more thrilling. Plus your not crashing at triple figures.

You don`t get Kawasaki ninja 250 essence: you can drive it like a gp on a track: revving to almost 20 000 rpm, shifting like machinegun, sitting in crippled position, kicking your butt like on a real sport-bike, generating rush of adrenaline...and stay at the same time at city-legal speed limit🤣 And price is reasonable. It is not 100% sarcasm, for the young beginners who like sportbikes it can give sportbike`s feel and some experience
