Very well said! I also see it as a journey to where I eventually want to be and it is definitely a personal choice. Minimalism cannot be forced onto people, it's something people just have to see and be inspired by. At the moment I live with my parents so that I can cut on some living costs and help them buy a house. Over the years we hoarded a lot of things but since I discovered minimalism 4 or 5 years ago, I have slowly managed to get my parents on board a little (my mom more than my dad haha). The house looks a lot better than what it did those years ago, there is more space and my parents made my dream come true (owning a kitten) - a bit unrelated to the minimalism but we did have the space for my little boy so I guess it is related to minimalism after all haha! I'm a lot happier and healthier now, we manage to save up more money because we now buy things intentionally (most of the time). It has helped me a lot and I hope more people discover this!
