Hey Thomas, I'm a immich noob, I was able to get it set up thanks to you but I am having some trouble updating it. Where did you run the pull command? I'm running it on my windows PC with doker compose. I tried running it in terminal and I got this error: PS B:\> docker compose pull && docker compose up -d At line:1 char:21 + docker compose pull && docker compose up -d + ~~ The token '&&' is not a valid statement separator in this version. + CategoryInfo : ParserError: (:) [], ParentContainsErrorRecordException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : InvalidEndOfLine Thank you!
Thanks for this great video. Quick question, should I stop the docker container before doing the backup, or can I just let it run ?
Question, Thomas. I successfully got my Immich up and running on a home server, running Ubuntu Server. I used docker-compose, and connected it to a CloudFlared Tunnel to my subdomain. Great so far. Immich is on a 4 TB drive in my server. I have a second 4TB drive in the server that's empty. Seems like a good idea to backup things on that second drive. any thoughts on the best way to to this, in the event a drive goes bad? Great content!!
Waiting for the Immich + Tailscale video 🙌🏿
I just want Immich App to backup photo video from iPhone on NAS, with 2 copies on 4tb x2 HDD. What setup should I get?
Great video! Does this also work if I am running Immich on TrueNAS?
thanks bro
Thank you for your work!
would you mind also showing how to restore from a backup properly?
Can I also safely Update Immich through the buttom from the webUI?
when you have time could you teach us how to switch Immich running from Windows back to Linux? I think Docker running on Linux is better than Windows.
You probably have to make another tutorial for restoring that database
cool, thanks
Bruh just run a separate backup system like Duplicacy or some other one that stops the container and backs it up. If I had to do this for every app I run on my server I'd kms
Hahah l saw this too late. Just broke my database with an update yeaterday
