Cunha and Mbeumo, Mainoo, Zirkzee and Mount as the 10s options with Bruno as the deep-lying playmaker; Amad and Dorgu as wingbacks would be absolutely amazing... the striker (Delap or better) would put away so many chances...

Great analysis once again, thanks Dave! The only problem that I see is that if Cunha has a free roaming role at L10 it will mean Bruno, right behind him, will have to be much more disciplined or it'll leave some gaping holes on the left side of midfield.

The true struggle has been the fact that Martial & Rashford did not progress as intended - despite been given the time & playing alongside some of the best forwards in the world (Rooney, Ibra, Cavani, Lukaku , Sanchez). Tragedy.

I am excited to see how these signings for the inside forward positions will affect us next season. In my opinion the two 10's has been the most disappointing throughout this season, and there's plenty disappointments to point out. What I would like to see and what I am expecting to see, is the Wing-Backs being allowed space to go on the overlap much more frequently. With specialized 10's being a bit more narrow, I would anticipate us to create that space for the Wing-Backs to operate in. I feel like Garnacho especially, has been stealing a lot of the Wing-Backs' space, because of his natural tendency of going very wide. I might be totally wrong though, not an expert by any means.

Players like him coming to the club bring a tear to my eye last time we sign a technical forward was Cavani but he was too old. Martial is the last real attacker we had that we splashed money on. Good times are ahead

We should adjust our wingbacks. Amad is not a wingback. We are ruining the potential of our best player. Rule number 1 is you put your best players in their best positions (i dont mean starting line-ups, I mean the spaces they occupy)

Thanks for the analysis, hopefully Cunha will boost ManUtd's attacking line. My only concerns are about the role of Bruno in Amorim's system. I'd prefer playing him higher up as the 2nd 10 rather than lying deep, because: 1/ Bruno is more dangerous up front; 2/ Due to physicality, Bruno excels more at shorter passes to exploit spaces, rather than longer passes - as in play switches and counter attacks (Pogba did this job very well back in Ole's time); 3/ He likes high risk - high reward moves, which could lead to possession losses at times, so they'd better be allowed higher up the pitch to mitigate the counter attack threat. The problem is, someone else would have to fill the No8 role. If it is the case, who would be the best fit? Please make an analysis on this issues as well. Thank you)
