Sorry bro, each point you made is NOT the reason why it's peak. It's peak because it's perfect pacing and G3's beautiful grasp on third person limited writing style. Other than that, its forgotten shore arc makes it peak but that's it. It's just immersive that's all.

Ive read both lotm and SS, and for me theyre both in my ,top 5 for all fiction, but to me lotm is just different, especially the first book. (Lotm was my first novel, so I might be biased). Has someone read them in reverse order? Which do you find better and why?

I dropped it at 224 chapter, main reason is the horrendously bad pacing. The second issue is kinda not a issue, it's the fact that I've seen people talk about how the forgotten shore is soo good and the best SS arc. But after reading more than half of it, the only one that amazed me was the soul devouring tree part And if THIS is the best arc of SS, then im not reading 1900+ more chapters
