Dart Counter
Subscription price has just gone up to £35.99 for a year, or £4.99 per month

if you just want to play at home and do practice games, not online, you don’t even need a subscription – that is all free!

@adamt516

Great video Neil. Just to clarify on the Omni cost - you can use the omni locally at home without needing a subscription at all. To play online and for detailed stats to help improve performance, the subscription is £34.99 for the entire year, or £4.99 per month.

@jason11166

I just got my Omni a few days ago, I was perviously using autodarts which was great but the Omni is a big step up and its only going to get better. Im in North America so the lobby was dead on autodarts and like you said you can get a game in 30 seconds on dart counter and i totally agree. even being here in NA I play with the euro users and when you all are sleeping the aussies start to come on and some americans.

one thing target needs to implement is a live view of the board like in auotdarts your opponent can choose any of the 3 camera's to watch your board. I was throwing a few big number rounds on the omni and i had a player pause the game and ask me to put my camera facing my board. now I have stupid tripod setup to get a crystal clear view of my board so when i go from throwing 4 26s to back to back 100+ the person doesn't start questioning. but that being said if they do add that feature it would deem the virt almost useless.

@andrewwickstead3802

This as great mate and sure loads of people will be grateful for this……..for me…….being in the garage like you……….i am leaning towards the omni……I waited for it and from what I see I looks fabulous for the price point

@LaceyDJI

Been watching the channel for a while and I find all your reviews very helpful. This review though I couldn't disagree more when it comes to the Scolia.which I have had for the past few months. Very few miss reads, no issues getting into games etc....

@summersyoutubechannel

I've been using the Scolia for a year and a half and I've hardly had a problem with it not registering darts correctly. Also never had one issue about getting a game via the lobby. Sounds like you have not had it set up correctly.

@jdgjagerbomber9430

I feel like the Omni is sort of future proof and that Darts Counter is the future of the online darts stuff

@WeeIslay

Excellent information Neil. I have neither, as you know I'm also playing darts in my garage and the internet used to poor out there, much better now though. Still both would be a bit of a waste for me due to being away for more than half the year. I do have a camera setup so I can play online but that's very rare now. You enjoy the Omni as it does look great

@williemcneill5735

Firstly great comparison/review chief. Finally got over my dartitus after a long period of struggling joined the local league and almost finished a new man cave. Delighted you preferred the OMNI as i have just invested in one and it arrived this morning and agree had a bit of trouble connecting to the WiFi but once I got it it was so easy to set up quick calibration and away it went another week to finish the inside of the man cave and then I will be using it for practice and hopefully a few games.

@Dave062YT

Yes I went for the Omni ,its a better scoring system and its cheaper.Im sure they will catch up to Scolia features wise as more and more players get one and uts narket share increases.p.s.also my board is on a stand so had no choice lol

@oneill4725

Dart counter has tournaments now I'm swinging more to Omni after watching this video m8

@PeterLister180

Great video mate, been thinking about getting one of these for a while and I think you summed it up perfectly.

@LouisWalker-d8x

Great review, really helpful and helped me make my mind up! Thank you

@craigbeardsley9685

Great video. I set my OMNI up last week and it is amazing. Great value for money. Never had a issue getting a game. Interesting about the virt camera though, i might hikd off buying the virt camera untill they iron out the issues.

@gerrardtorresbabel

I don't have any issues getting games on scolia. Alot of people play tournaments rather than single games because is has live board view and they is tournemnts every 15mins and they are normal full come game time.

The scolia can be a pain sometimes when miss registering darts but over all it's great. It can be great for a day or 2 then it may play up a few times.

@gavindavies164

Omni is good. i like it a lot. there is so few games though offline to choose from. it does make a lot of mistakes and it isn't easy to change it when it does sometimes it is impossible if you have taken your darts out before you notice mistake. very convenient though to be fair just a shame the app isn't a lot better with a lot more content on there

@Gitara6060

Great video as usual! What darts would you recommend for a rear gripper? I'm considering Target Bolide 01 or 04, Target Exo 02, Target Gabriel Clemens Gen 1, Target Chris Dobey gen 1, Loxley Sorcerer. If you have any other recommendations I'd be more than happy to see them. Thanks!

@jusatin

Neither. If you want a full system like that, go for Autodarts, that's A LOT cheaper than either of these.

If you want to go even cheaper and easier, go for Dartsmind - you can use your phones camera for auto counting, or plug in an external cam to your iPad.

@ScottishLadDartsChannel

At this point I'd be happy with either but the scolia just pips it for me

@angelobianco73

I'm going with the Omni!💯💯💯Tournament are coming, soon!💯💯💯
