Not the only reason. You’ve got to consider this: How on Earth can a Serb shooting an Austro-Hungarian kick off Britain, France, Germany, Russia etc…? It’s all because of the empires. Kaiser Wilhelm Of Germany was Queen Victoria of Britain’s grandson. And he always got jealous of the size of the British empire, and our navy. So he wanted Germany to have something better. Harder for Germany having been formed as a country in 1871. But anyway us and the Germans entered what was known as ‘The Arms Race’. A shipbuilding race to see who could build more dreadnoughts. We build 1, the Germans build 2. We build 4, the Germans build 8 and so on and so forth. Wilhelm’s ambition to spread the German empire as far as the British empire was a big ask. And Russia were fighting the Russian Revolution at the time so they came a little later in 1913. France wanted a piece of land that Germany took from them years ago. The Alsace-Lorraine. A large mining area that stretched a section of the French-German border, France were willing to fight for it. There was therefore 2 vast apposing armies. The Triple Entente: Us, the French and the Russians on one side, and Germany, Austro-Hungary and Italy (didn’t do much they just joined whichever side was winning) on the other side. The Slavs in Austro-Hungary were serbs. And started rebelling against the Austro-Hungarians, not to mention Russia who wanted to help the Slavs. And that’s when the tensions built. All the Alliances, arms races, empires, and then the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand was just the thing that pushed it over the edge, and Europe erupted into a world war.

If human beings and the kids and people of America just realized that back then there was a time with no social media and there was wars like this people had more respect and honor and dignity everyone came together it was a less divided era I think that life would just be better as a whole we need to fight corruption and tyranny.
