Who else just watched day in the life before this 👀
I think this guy was the reason why twitter got hacked.
Congratulations on your new journey 🎉
Congrats on the Robinhood offer! Wish you both the best!!
As a dude that only wants to provide for his family in a terrible position I truly envy you John. I really want to get into coding I’m currently enrolled in classes and I’m nervous. I always hear how intense it can be but the field is something I truly feel I would be happy in but I’m sure it has its fair share of ups and downs. I’m so tired of delivering boxes to people’s front doors John. But dude from the bottom of my heart congrats dude I know it wasn’t easy getting to where you’re at and mad props.
Found your channel with the 'Day in the Life' video, so I clicked as soon as I got the notification. Congratulations on the dream job, and all the best! :) PS, Theyhadusinthefirsthalf.jpeg

We’ll be monitoring and responding to comments closely the first 24 ish hours of posting this video, soooo drop a comment! Happy to answer any questions—interview, recruiting, coding, marriage, life, Twitter, Robinhood etc. Q&A is open!
Thank you for being transparent about your journey . It keeps motivating me.
To be young again. Found this channel when setting up a home studio. Best wishes!
All the best to both of yall! Visited Stanford Uni and Palo Alto in December, amazing area for sure. Also changing companies is definitely a good call if you’re passionate about it and there’s a good opportunity! Will probably also switch jobs now and be part of something amazing
All I looked was for the glass falling at the edge of the table
The minute you said "hyper-growth" and "pre-IPO", I was like Robinhood? And then drum roll please... ROBINHOOD! Congrats and just wanted to say I love this channel and the advice y'all give is the best I've seen!! Have you both thought about making a video about new grad advice for applying to jobs during COVID-19? Because that would be great!!
What’s it like to be a Robinhood employee while the drama is going down right now? 😬
Great video; really well-explained. Sounds like a great move for Josh! Is Katie working remotely or switching jobs? I'd love to hear more iOS discussion: - What is Josh's opinion on specialization, particularly for iOS? In other words, "tying your career to Apple"? - What does Josh recommend for iOS learning progression? Swift & SwiftUI are the future of iOS, but most established companies still have lots of Objective-C. - What additional skills does Josh use frequently beyond iOS development? Any backend development, scripting, or DevOps?
Congrats dude! Glad you're moving to something that will make u happier
Loved this video! Very impressive background and completely relate to how you left Twitter when I left IBM. I'm a huge fan of Robinhood and can imagine it being full of fun & exciting problems to solve. Wishing you & Katie the best with the new position!
Randomly ran into this video, and I just realized I had a meeting with you a few quarters ago on iOS deeplink issues. Congrats, and good luck on your switch!
"Why am I leaving?" Oh yeah, and reason number 3, I got offered more money at another company. There you go. That's the whole video.
