@themynahswithinternetaccess

the fact that this guy is just going around the house and occasionally checking inside the room for 4 hours is truly asian mom dedication

@StevenHe

*comes in with a plate of orange slices

@TheShortGirl666

You know what? If this guy can roleplay for 4 straight hours then I can sure as hell get my work done

@truthness-j5m

bro we are so cooked my mom walked in and now two asian moms are watching me🥶😱:hand-orange-covering-eyes::face-blue-wide-eyes::face-orange-biting-nails:

@ascellaplays

love that she checks up before the two minute mark to try and catch me not doing my work. true mother move

@ekamor3754

OMG... he even has the background noise of mom cutting some stuff in the kitchen.... doing her chores..... wow. That's just amazing!

@fwogboy

i fucking love that this exists. what genre is this? study music? ambience? roleplay ASMR? life coaching????? political commentary?????????????????

@Kalen1-g1j

when he glared at the camera i looked up from being off topic and said sorry OUT LOUD then got back to work so fast! true masterpiece!

@justdoingmything

the constant sound of house work, chinese drama in the background, walking pass the door randomly, it's perfect

@violetlantern

You know he really is a mom when he doesn't close the room's door and leaves it wide open

@wald_art2962

Thank you! This helped me to finish school, get a PhD and start a family in 4 hours.

@chuchotement_de_minuit

, the background, the Chinese drama, the sound, the fact we can hear the mom doing her house work, the little "jumpscare" of her looking if you dont get disturbed, the little attention (plate of oranges etc) seem like im in her house.

that's so perfect! Give him an oscar!

@Irene-eu4iz

I clicked on this for a laugh but turns out this is what I’ve been looking for my whole life. Thanks dude with pink towel for being a good mom

@mckenziebate2949

I know everyone else loves it but this feels like a horror jumpscare game because you never know when she's coming in.

@noeisn

HELP , I saw the mom go away so I took my phone to check a message and then the mom instantly came back and I quickly put my phone out 😭. This is so effective.

@sleepyotter

My sister saw me using this video when I'm learning programming. She laughed so hard and told my mom and now they are both laughing at me.

@Mek219

As a 35 year old who’s mum passed away when I was 6, this was so comforting. We aren’t Asian but the sound of a mum doing stuff around the house and checking in soothes that inner child. Makes me wonder how she would have parented around study ect.

@lordsnooks2804

Not gonna lie but just the sound of a tv in the background and someone who loves you pottering about in another room is so nostalgic and comforting

@terrified_kelly

this is actually the greatest vid on youtube studied for and hour straight i didnt even touch my phone but it was kinda a jumpscare looking up and seeing him out of nowhere

@vivianzhong6815

Everything in this video is so accurate! The faint sounds of historical drama playing. The way that you can hear a knife hitting the cutting board, the cooking utensils clinking, and the occasional tap water noise hints to you that the Asian mom is in the kitchen preparing food. The sound of an ancient Chinese instrument playing next door, which is what old people often love to put up and listen to(at least in the neighbourhood that I was in).
Really reminds me of my childhood when I used to live with my grandma.
