7. SNHU 6. University of New Hampshire 5. Liberty University 4. Purdue Gloabal 3. Thomas Edison State University 2. WGU 1. and still reigning champ....UMPI
Whats wild is i just stumbled onto your channel as I just got accepted into SNHU to finish a bachelor's.
18:00: Unless they revised this recently, one major "back-door exception" to the "no free electives" restriction at WGU is that if you have a completed associates degree from any regionally or nationally-accredited university, they will waive their entire Gen-Eds section, meaning that you only have to complete their AOS courses (the fact that most associates degrees have extremely tiny free elective sections notwithstanding). Thanks for uploading, btw!
Could you start implementing timestamps? I think it would be really helpful with your videos. But the content is amazing.
I am currently enrolled at WGU. Other than some annoying experiences with the proctoring I have had a great experience with WGU. The advisors and course instructors really care and are there to help. If you are determined and disciplined you can get through the program very quickly.
Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is not the Wal Mart of higher education perhaps it’s been mistaken for a low-quality online school because of its heavy marketing. However, it is a regionally accredited, nonprofit university with high academic standards. Its strict 8-week terms require a strong self-motivated student. This can come as a shock for students that register and think SNHU is just another Diploma Mill. SNHU is not just gonna hand you a diploma.
Extra engagement for you cuz the channel is awesome. Hope the algorhythm blesses u
My full body laughter and joy this morning was brought to me by the shhnewww shade. I thoroughly enjoyed that thank you.
34 yrs old here, always wanted to go to college but couldn’t due to family responsibilities, now I an more than ready to roll. I always wanted to do Civil engineering but I figured my choices are limited(online). With kid, wife in active duty military, full time job, I am pretty stuck!
I am a Christian and my mother was a Christian. When I was a teenager my mom said: If you choose to stay at this Christian school I want you to go to and you graduate and get your high school diploma there are a lot of businesses out there that will say that it's not a real diploma. They will look at it as "less than". I.was born in 1980. Mama knows best. No Christian schools for me.
I recently transferred from WGU to SNHU. I wanted to continue my HIM degree with SNHU but they only accepted 60 credits I switched the major to general studies and all 90 credits were accepted I should start by March and end by October. Reasons why I switched- the proctored exams I couldn’t do it anymore. Once you fail an exam it’s a a process to get a second attempt and the max of retakes you can do is about 5. $60 charge after the 2nd attempt. The PAs were also something that ticked me off. I could write a whole paper and it would fail because one sentence didn’t mention the main topic. That being said WGU and SNHU are both good schools I just need a different type of classroom environment
I'm about to graduate from UMGC and managed to transfer in the full 90 credits, it wasn't easy but having 1/3 of the degree as free electives helped. Side note but this channel should be way bigger than it is. So many people out there who never finished college and wish they could have another shot at it don't know something like this is possible.
TESU alumni here... it's pretty damn good. Felt legitimately challenged by the coursework. It takes effort, but the courses are well-designed, and I really connected and enjoyed the instructors. Did an MS at WGU after TESU. WGU is okay. I found the courses almost too easy, the tech courses are greatly outdated. But it seems to be a respected enough institute. It's well known, and I haven't had any prospective jobs treat it less than any other school.
I have college credits from twenty, thirty, and forty years ago. At the age of 59, I think I would just start over with my classes if I was to go back to school
So blunt about the pros and cons of both, I love your transparency!
Elmwood institute is nationally accredited but has a self-paced $900 masters program!
I don’t know about how your experience at Liberty was Dr, but literally every assignment I had at Liberty was Biblically themed. Nothing against a school having religious principles, but when I’m forced to include it in every single assignment, it got stale very fast.
UoP is so big that a lot of people choose it for their first online school. Then they dropout broke and skeptical of all online schools.
Can you do a video on East Texas A&M specifically the competency based program. What majors, transfer credits etc.
