Yas Queen!
How is she that flexible? And she is exactly who I aspire to be as a violinist- you're amazing Lindsey!
Was a violinist when I was younger (nothing special) & didn't have many violin heroes to aspire to. 30 years later & this girl has awoken something in me that I thought long dead. Lindsey doesn't just play music to your soul. She reawakens it
She's not a musician, she is THE music herself! Her body is her instrument.
This is my favourite Lindsey Stirling song. There's just something so beautiful and magical about this track. It transports me to a whole other world and it's just so incredible.
I love how Lindsey adds the crazy intense feel, the dancing, the people, the VIOLEN. It's amazing. I love how she adds the steampunk feel, too. THIS IS AMAZING. Broke the replay button......... again.
No matter how many times I listen to this, it has no lyrics and yet you can hear every single word. That’s how you know your art is legendary.
Can we have word on symbolism of this video? I find the abstraction of the video to be just the right amount for something like this. My view: the start of the video starts with a quote about critics and the arena. Then The Lovers appear and beautiful dance in the arena. The crowd doesn't care, they look bored, and are not interested. The Warriors who were in the crowd are now those in the arena, fighting. Crowd goes wild with excitement, they don't care about the beautiful dance, but they love the fight to the death, they cheer. The Mother, cheering for the fight, is now the one in their place, in the arena. She and her daughter are being attacked for being different (they are the only ones wearing horns). At the end, everyone sees them self. They are the crowd. And when they realize that, The Lovers continue to dance, fighters drop swords and do capoeira, and I am not sure what exactly The Mother does. A strong message about how people care less about the truly beautiful things in this world. How we care more about brutality, war, pain, and we are eager to judge and change others. BUT when we are in the place of the ones being judged, then we blame the society, the crowd. But we are that society, we are that crowd, if each of us would change themselves, stop trying to hurt others, and stop being such hypocrites, everyone life would be so much easier, and we could commit to more important things in this life.
2019 and still rolling. Those moves.
That flight of hers, when Derek pulls her from ground is giving me goosebumps. Such grace, such trust to partner. Simply lovely
Not gonna lie, this time around, Lindsay's musical skills were completely eclipsed by her dancing. This is just mesmerizing. 00:36 in particular made my jaw hit the floor.
I think the message at the beginning of the video was portrayed very well thought out the video, and that was that there will always be people who are going to fight you and your beliefs, but in the end of the whole scheme of things the only person you have to worried about making happy is your self and no one else.
You tell Lindsey she can't do something... she will prove you wrong each time. She is one of the true natural exceptional talents. Lindsey is just what the entertainment world needed today.
Dunno why, but this song always makes me feel like I'm flying, especially when that middle bit at 0:42 starts playing.
Due to her talent playing the violin, I forget just how talented of a dancer she is. Top tier footwork.
I didn't even know that it was possible for one person to have so many incredible talents!!
Hardly anyone can hold a candle to your original style of beauty. You have harnessed it so well that it leaves one breathless. You talent is beyond your years as is your character. I have no further words to express how I feel watching your videos other than EPIC!!!!!!!! I feel you are humble in this, but you should know that you are ALL THAT and a bag of fun sized chips.... Keep up the phenomenal work. You are truly blessed and a gift from God. May he always keep you.
No matter how many times I see this video I am moved. THe choreography, the message, the emotion, the pull of the music, everything in this video is just amazing.
as a young violinist, Lindsey Stirling inspires me to never give up on my instrument and always try hard. I am now in third chair because of my private violin lessons and listening to Lindsey play so wonderful.
