For those who got anxious at the title, here's a summary: She overworked herself creating reaction content to get her channel to be her job over the last ~5 years, and feels she cornered herself into reading reddit. This, as you can imagine, isn't the best creative outlet. That combined with managing her 10 person team + merch + other things that come with having a YouTube channel is stressful and a bit boring. Rather than quit, she wants to do more creative things on the channel and create more Jenna Marbles-esque videos featuring her and Mike. Basically, she's diversifying her content, but will continue to do reddit readings from time to time. This may be temporary, but she's hoping it's a new chapter for the channel. Good luck, Charlotte! I'll definitely be sticking around for the reddit readings at the very least, and am excited to see what you come up with!

I think I won’t be the only one to say: Finally!!! I watched your videos specifically for those moments when you branched out – when you included a little comedy bit, used a new prop, or simply added something extra. I’ve been wondering for a long time why you’d limit yourself to this “streamer cam” style of commentary content, especially since we’ve all seen over the years what a huge comedic talent you have. (And let’s be real – some of your past ad rolls were so good, it’s clear that you and your team can produce some pretty great shots, too.) How could anyone be mad that we’re getting more of that? Ms. Dobre, you are above and beyond a creator. You are a soul that went thru a lot of things as a child, things you may have deemed unnecessary that you kept to yourself to not be a "burden", "in the way" or "rock the boat". And to learn so much to be thick skinned, kind, loving, giving, and people please has both serviced you but hurt you, which makes us as your viewers upset, but want to support you more. You have empathy, care, understanding, good judgement, love, great mediation skills, you sacrifice even on your worst days, and give us your best even when you feel your worst. ... We love you. Omg Charlotte, please make skits about the Reddit submissions as a storytelling feature with Mikes cinematography skills!!! In place of just narrating them. I would watch the heck out of those!! Either way, whatever you decide, I’m a fan for the long haul! All hail the Petty Potato Queen!

I have watched you and loved you since lockdown in 2020, and I am so happy to see you grow! Im excited to see you do more of new things and always knew you could do a lot more than what you were doing. You are so talented, with one of the most contagious personalities, and I could only watch so many drama videos anyway, especially wedding stuff. You have come so far since your little apartment box with naked man, keep stepping out of the box, its a whole world and life out there you are growing into and getting to make the most of. I am so happy for you and only wish we could all be that successful. I know its taken a lot of work and a little bit of luck.
