Wow, I never thought I'd see SEO shifting so much by 2025. The part about AI generating answers directly blew my mind! This makes tracking brand visibility with tools like AICarma crucial for adapting.
Thank you, Wes, your content is invaluable and you make success seem very achievable.
This is great advice. The days of creating text content and trying to get it to rank in Google -- without the authority that comes from video are 100% over.
Thank you! You have an easy-to-follow style and narrating and walking through topics.
I second this! I'm a video editor and have everyone link to my website and at this rate it's probably in thousands of videos now. So anyone who comes to my website is already invested in what I offer. 9/10 I close another editing client.
My biggest challenge to this is learning how to make good youtube content is an entirely new skillset you have to learn, and the equipment isn't that cheap. You'd also have to learn video editing, have a computer to do it on, need the software to do video editing, etc.
Great video!
Thanks for the video!)
I've been on youtube since 2019 and uploaded hundreds of videos trying different approaches. Now I've lost faith in YouTube and I'm Looking for other platforms.
Thank you so much for the great content. I am very impressed with the edit of your video. Do you make it in-house ? Do you delegate ? Any special tool used for the edit ? Can't wait to see new content from you.
Oh sh*t wes answered my question how dope is that thank you so much ❤
looks very interesting how would this work with a screen-printing business?
That's a good point, Wes, and it will definitely become more and more relevant in the future. After I saw my kid searching YouTube for "What to do if your parents took your tablet away", I understood its potential 😂
Wes, first of all, thank you for this video, it gave a different perspective on AI. Second, will it confuse the algorithm if I just started making videos of several topics? I have a service business that ranges from babysitting to Notary Public, to selling water systems. What would you suggest I start with?
SEO is still relevant, and many things from the traditional seo toolbox still apllies
This is an excellent and thoughtful video. I agree that video is the best way to hedge against the mountains of crappy and mediocre AI written content that is gumming up everything and drowning out quality content.
Websites will soon be a thing of the past.. Google doesn't want you to leave their site if they can help it; their AI generated responses will ensure that you never need to
Agreed 100%. This will be a shock for my customers, but as I began my pivot months ago they will have to do the same. It's funny that every time I got a call, back in the early 2000's, stating 'he's' #1 one and 'he' doesn't deserve it... I deserve and want #1 because I'm the best... I would think to myself... BUT you're NOT doing business, you're just throwing a website on the web and expecting the world to beat your door down with $. However, I sold them SEO anyway because they wouldn't have considered doing business-sales-offers-marketing-landing pages-content-etc anyway.
have u seen some brands coming over to YT recently and investing more in YT SEO?
