"thank you for watching"? We who must thank you for this amazing content.
Hi Tim, As a python beginner, just wanted to thank you for the detailed and easy to follow explanation on how to run your code on pycharm. There is a severe lack of decent videos out there teaching Pycharm to absolute beginners. Even the official one is kinda hard to follow. I hope you post more videos and you've def gained a new sub. Thanks man!
how tf are you even up with so much energy at 7:35AM? but thanks for the video it really helped compared to other on youtube
Thank you, I got headaches from trying to figure out how to set up the interpreter. Looking forward to watch the rest of the series.
You mentioned one thing when getting to the end, the use of only the 'ALT' to select only the column that you are working on and u were thinking maybe it wouldn't be important but I promise you that is the most important thing I learnt from this video
Thanks, man, it put my brains together finally.
wow i just began computer science gcse well not just began but now im gonna start working hard on it and this helped me so much
I love watching YouTube tutorials on the go using my phone. I wish more YouTubers can make their tutorials mobile friendly by increasing the font to make it visible on mobile
Just downloaded PyCharm today, and this video already taught me so many new things. Thanks!
You are a total life saver. I usually like to figure things out myself as tutorials don't help me as much as doing stuff myself does, but I ran into a problem whilst trying to run code. PyCharm gave me an error when I was trying to run code saying something along the lines of "Your SDK is invalid" and I knew it was because I had another project in another IDE running on the same exact python directory, but for some reason it wasn't working. Turns out, deleting the previous configuration I set up when I first launched PyCharm and creating a new one with the same python directory solved the problem. If anyone else has this problem I hope this is of some use to you. Also, I apologize if my programmer vocabulary is flawed. I am just a beginner myself and learning as I go. :)
PyCharm is a great tool but it can be intimidating for beginners. Thanks for making things easier. This was really helpful.
I'm convinced that college is now just professors curating a list of learning content that is already out here for free. Great vid.
had to watch 5 videos until I found this one, that it explains it understandable and not assumes loads of stuff
For those wondering like I did: The old shortcut for the alt select was ALT + Select. The new one is ALT + SHIFT + Select.
thanks tim! just downloaded python today and these tips are already helping me kick off to a good start. also just listened to your first podcast and it was fascinating to hear that you entered into coding at such a young age. cannot wait to see what you come out with next
I think u deserve a Nobel Prize for this piece. Keep it up.
oh god I'm glad I found this as a beginner rather than down the road. thanks
What a great intro, will get onto this series. Thanks!
