To clarify a couple of the alterations that were made to my videos: - Originals did not include an Unregistered Hypercam 2 watermark - The patron rolls were cut completely (which is fine, those are just music mashups usually and aren't really reaction-worthy) - The ad breaks during A Guy's DDDDD&D were originally mini-YTPs of commercials for BetterHelp and Genshin Impact respectively. The first was replaced with a Pokémon toy commercial YTP that was originally in a video of mine called "Pocket Mans". The second was plugging some vinesauce mugen thing i don't know anything about. - In Seeder Point, the original video made reference to the band Steam Powered Giraffe. Instead the editor plugged Red Vox (Vinny's band), then for continuity's sake edited each instance of "Steam Powered" to "Red". However this ruins the later visual gag where the emulator window says "Steam Powered Dolphin" - There are various pacing cuts and clarifications that were hastily added Obviously the videos are meant to be viewed on their own so some adaptation work is necessary to make it reaction content friendly. Still, it's not ideal to see my work presented in a way that doesn't fully represent my style. But regardless I'm glad Vinny seems to have enjoyed and that most of you have too <3

Very glad to see Vinny introduced to DaThings videos, but I am in agreement that in the future they don't need so much editing, and captions are provided on youtube so that helps too.

I almost understand cutting out the Patreon credits of DaThings' videos, even though there's some great mashups in them worth listening to and don't get DMCA-claimed, but there were segments in that DDD ytp that had no business being replaced. They were poops of other commercials. If this segment is done again, unless there's like slurs or whatever, I beg the editor/curator to just leave them alone.

to curator: please leave the source material alone. its one thing to edit in order to comply with TOS but its lame as all hell to swap out the original, non-vulgar jokes with corny shit, and worse, self-advertising your own project that has zero reason to be there other than making yourself look like a shill.

Pro tips for anyone curating packs in general: Only censor if it's absolutely necessary. If there's a word, image, song, or anything that will take either Vinny or his wallet on a vacation, perfectly fine to change it. If the original material is fine, leave it alone. These are things people have put their heart and soul into, and they deserve the utmost respect when it comes to Vinny clowning on them. Also, don't throw in your own advertisement UNLESS you get approval to do so. If the person threw in their own advertisement, either leave it alone if it's not distracting, or edit it out and put a note saying you removed it. Vinny should tell chat to support the original creators if they want to at the end of the segment.
