@TheGoldenPro

Yeah you're so right about this. Glad to hear it being spread around YouTube shorts. I've had so many beginners come to me in DMS asking me how I have the motivation to program and the conversation always ends with me asking that same question (Why do you want to become a programmer? What do you want to achieve? What's your goal?).

In my opinion you can't learn how to program without actually having a goal. This is how people drop out and give up on programming.

@Djellowman

True, but i simply have none; no goals in life.

@disillusion-ment1563

Wow. I thought I was doing my goals right. But hearing what you had to say about it. And then using computer analogy. Helped me realize I'm thinking about my goals all wrong and backwards. Thanks a lot man. 🙏 just the little realizations.

@10tronic

My goal is not to starve.

@phantomapprentice6749

Very good point Tim , keep fighting the good fight against AGI , don't give up. Our goal as programmers are to surpass it.

@mallagallabumbum8209

Your shorts are very useful. Thank you for that.

(The preview pics of your shorts are very unflattering btw. ^^°)

@mtq2527

I want to work hard so that i can forget my life

@thepetiteotaku

30 years?! I hope you are talking about a more overarching idea of what you want your life to look like, rather than a concrete goal because it is so far off in the future. Better to do smaller, more manageable goals

@macklykyn8967

How long have you been coding?

@Lsir

This is true.. ahh fakk..
