4:56 I actually got hit similar to that. Instead, I was trying to get the puck out of the zone. I tried speeding around the defender, which I did. Then he boarded me right into the boards, face first, then stomach, then feet. I rested myself for 2 weeks before playing sports again.

Stevens hit on Kariya - extremely late and very dirty. Even in the days before headshots were called, this is a dirty hit Samuelsson on Neely - clearly a knee on knee. Sammy was always a dirty player. Scheifele on Evans - obvious charge and even jumped into him. deserved every minute of that suspension. Stevens on Lindros - fell completely within the rules of the time. dirty according to todays standards, though.

That hit on Evans was dirty AF! and i don't know how anyone can say that it's clean. The goal was made, Shceifele had all the time to dodge Evans but he just hit him from sheer frustration. In my opinion, anytime a player send another one at the hospital and he can't play for a long period of time, that player should but expelled for the same number of match the other can't play + a certain number more depending on the severity of the hit. Punition in NHL is not enough at the moment. 5000$ for some of the dirty hit player do sometimes is a joke with their salary.

Matt Cooke and Scott Stevens are without a doubt, two of the dirtiest players that I know of. EVERY single hit, they are trying to elbow or shoulder the other players head. Straight up interference too, players don't even have the puck.
