@blum3141592

This is great. Thanks for your content. In my mind you’re still the guy who taught me card tricks when I was 13 years old. I was always amazed by your sleight of hand. I have no idea how you went from there to here, but I’m here for it lol

@noon3d

I just went from a scheduled life for 10 years to just do what ever and I feel great.

@BeaBea1982

I adore this idea. Absolutely taking this to the family as we all constantly say we want to spend more time together but always get tired up in work etc.

@LeahNicole...

This is actually really important. I wish my dad would've scheduled me in a bit when I was a kid. He missed everything growing up because he prioritized work over literally everything else. If he had taken even the slightest interest in what I was doing, I would have run with those projects. But since he didn't show interest, I quickly lost mine.

Anyway. Fellas, be more than a provider, be a DAD. It will inspire your children to peruse their interests, thus raising healthy and productive members of society.

@Zsac

When the blonde asian dude tells me to walk the talk in the kindest way possible… thank you, Vinh

@xtrastarfish6431

Idk if I came up with it originally or not, someone probably said it but, "If you work yourself to the bone, you will have no muscles to carry what matters most"

@myself3209

This is exactly the type of guy I imagine schedules his whole month ahead xD

@avananana

Reading some comments I can see that people did not pick up on the general idea given here. He's not telling you to decide that "Okay so in 3 weeks on Sunday we're going to play volleyball at the beach between 1pm and 4pm". All he's saying is that it's a good idea to step back and generally plan what to do. Do we want to go see a movie? Dinner at a fancy restaurant? Visit a summer cottage? Go to the beach? Maybe we can invite our parents for dinner some day? Or visit them during the day to spend some more time with them. He's not telling you to micromanage your hours, but step back and schedule activities you want to do such that you don't end up missing it due to work or other things.

@takisstatos8266

A great way to visualise and share what actually needs to happen to achieve goals in life.

@TheAIToolsmith

As much as he's trying to make it seem like family is priority - he has 5 dedicated days for work and 2 for his family as he mentions "scheduling weekends". The division of time is already there and the days are preallocated. There's an illusion that family is first as you just schedule the activities on those days and the illusion actually breaks down when an "important" work meeting comes. You then see the priority.

PS: not judging, just saying

@flxmkr

I guarantee no matter how much time you spend with your parents in person or on the phone…after they die, you will only focus on all the times you failed to visit or call. And NONE of the explanations you come up with in your head will be anywhere close to the value of the time you could’ve spent with them.

My heart aches for my parents…to see them once again….to hear their laughter…to listen to their jokes…or to sit quietly on the back deck with just the sound of the fire pit crackling and occasional sip of coffee while the dogs snore at our feet. Memories aren’t enough. Pictures don’t fill the void. Even videos will make you deeply long to be there with them.

If your parents are still alive, there is no reason you can create for passing up a call or visit, that will be acceptable once they are gone. And if your excuse is “I can do it another day”…that’s what I said. Another day never came.

I love and miss you both so much, I am aching all over, Dad and Mom! I’m so sorry I didn’t drop what I was doing and visit more often. ❤

@BabsW-k7b

I LOVE THIS GUY!!!

@Kimberly-q6k

This is absolutely true.
