I live in Western New York State about 30 mi from the Canada border. 20 mi north of Buffalo. I have what is called a 1 and 1/2 bedroom apartment. The half is about the size of a small child's bedroom you can put a twin bed and a dresser in there. I use it as a pantry and storage. I'm in a good neighborhood on a decent Street. While most people in my area are paying about $800 to $1000 a month for a one bedroom I am paying $650. I feel for people that live in these markets where a one-bedroom apartment is costing $3,000 to me that's crazy!! The second apartment that they showed would go for about $900 a month here.

My question is, why are you moving if everything you love is where you’re at?
