The mark of a great explainer is the ability to show what is so obvious to the expert that they haven't even consider to put it into words. When we teach statistics and probability, often we forget to explain those little things that are kind of obvious to us, but that are new to the students. No wonder why students get so confused! Thanks for clarifying this!
