@sofiagrover18

i’m 17 with really bad social anxiety so applying for my first job right now is super scary….. i’ll try to remember to update you guys on what happens 😭 wish me luck

@epicdogs1236

I just did my first inerview and it was TERRIBLE I have bad anxiety but I think my resume made up for it because I got the job. At my interview I said I was nervous 2 times, I stuttered a lot, I forgot a lot of things in the moment and it was bad. But all I did was smile and be attentive and yk it still worked so doo not fret yall

@Rainisrain1

I started working at McDonald's and to be honest they just need people who actually can learn fast and do the work fast. At first they thought I was to young to work cause I'm 15 but than they wanted to put me for more days because I was fast I learned super fast and I'm proud of myself is actually easy. Now they put me all alone even if I just begin

@rlthh

I’m 16 too but you look and talk so much more mature 😭

@crystalgarcia9395

I am 16 and I have my first ever interview tomorrow for TJ MAXX! My first job. It was the one and only store I applied online because I had very low expectations when applying online; however, they sent me an email for an interview the day after surprisingly! I am so excited for it, I may be a lil nervous but i'm really doing my best to know what to say. Even if they dont accept me (which I doubt since they replied so quick) I always have my backups. I will update soon after my interview!

@its_naimahstackhouse

I’m 17 and don’t have a job I need to get with the program😭

@planetzrcool

i’m 15 and applied for dairy queen about 3 days ago. i got an interview in 4 days. i’ll keep yall updated! 😭

update 1: yesterday was my interview. i got taken to where the people eat for the interview. i gave the lady my resume, cover letter, and application letter. she asked me questions like what hours can i work, what’s my minimum daily pay, and just how the environment is, like it’s fast paced, what the uniform would be, and just how i might be treated. she said after father’s day i can check in to see if i got the job.. praying!! 🙏

update 2: i applied for another dairy queen, planet fitness, and taco bell😊 within walking distance of me (hope i get dairy queen one)

@RenTek_None

I’m 19 with no job or car or driver’s license. I graduated high-school and went into the military. Now I’m trying to figure out how to get my first job and I’m sooooo lost.

@clouddiaesthetics9926

I’m 16 and have a job
It took me 3 months to finally get an interview and got the job 🤪

@peachyxleaf8943

I just applied to work at Papa Murphys as my first job and im 14! I'm very nervous and I really hope I get the job. And I know that I'm the youngest they'll hire so everyone I'll hopefully work with is gonna be older than me :') I'm studying as much as possible and preparing and researching to the depths of the internet about every little thing. Wish me luck!

@sparkle5164

I'm a bit older than most (19) but I just applied for my first job. I decided to wait till I graduated to work so I could focus on school then after I graduated I started my first year of college. I finally decided I'd get my first job this summer ❤ I applied to a snow cone place here but everyone wanted to work there so I applied for pizza hut 😂

Also I will also be looking at other jobs, but since my dad is chill with me living with him for rn and I'm not in desperate need of money I'm totally chill with starting out in beginner jobs ❤

@tysone1254

I never applied to a job my mom mentioned to my neighbor at a party that I was looking for work, a few weeks later my mom woke we up and said they wanted me to come in and work. No resume no interview, no legal papers (Until the next day). Definitely a small town thing.

@MasonBorn-cp6sb

I'm turning 15 soon - the age that I can officially act on all the things that I've been planning for the past three years, starting and dependent on getting a job at 15. I am updating my job search now so that by the time I am 15 I will know what jobs to apply for, how to procure a permit, how my schedule will be, and other important factors I need to work out. I am really excited for the journey of my emancipation and the work that comes with that! Thank you for the help!

@zootedkailynn

girl thank you for giving is examples on what to say when they ask questions. i went in for an interview yesterday and when they asked me why i wanted to work there i said “i just need a job” then they asked why should they hire me and i said idk🤣 they told me to come back monday for a second interview but NOOO. i was hella nervous and embarrassed tf outta myself😭 i’m rey apply to other places now that i’m prepared so thank you frr💕

@4ng3l..di0r

I'm so glad u mentioned how to make a resume and stuff. I watched a couple other videos and they really only mentioned how to act during the interview which is helpful but I wasn't sure how to apply and what things were necessary.🌷🌹

@MossyMarshy

This is so helpful! Wish I had watched this before my interview lol. I managed to get through it purely by memorizing my questions and trying to stay calm. Now I work at a very chill dog grooming facility. Making almost $200 a week at 16! Thank you so much for making this!

@ohnoitsspider

Man I’m 19 with no car and no job experience and NO one to help me figure Ts out, Ty Ty Ty for helping me get my foot in the door girl

@HerFeminineAroma

I know this video was uploaded two years ago, but reading some of the comments I have mixed feelings. First and foremost, congratulations to the ones who have applied to jobs and scored an interview and the job. For the ones who weren’t so lucky, it is okay. It isn’t the end of the world. I also have dealt with applying to picky companies who are looking for top tier employees with certain work experiences, but I started working in my later teens at only three jobs, and I had just graduated with skills slightly similar to the skills I developed at my previous jobs. All I want to say is, if it’s something you really want, go for it. Some of you being young teens probably don’t have to worry about getting jobs that pay an excessive amount of money, because you probably don’t have important responsibilities such as bills, rent, car notes, etc. unless you’re an independent teen. Then again, it all depends on your lifestyle.

I hope y’all take what you can from this video and score an interview in your near future. Good luck job searching! ❤

@elianap.9119

THANKUUUU so much, to be honest i felt dumb searching up to get a job as a teen. This video made me feel so much better and know that its normal not to know how to apply. Staring my resume!!
