Not to split hairs here, but the sunroof isn't actually opaque, it's translucent. Light goes through it but gets scattered. Opaque would mean it would be dark as no light at all would make it through. With regard to the van, I think it's neat, but like everyone else here, I think the range and cost are killers. It seems doomed to follow the Cybertruck into early retirement.

From what I understand Volkswagen has no intention of selling this van in volume. They know it’s gonna be so to a niche market so you’ll probably never see the price come down on this van could be wrong.

Opaque glass doesn't block sun or the heat of the sun and I would imagine blasting you A/C uses a lot of energy. Nice interior though! And definitely a cool van. If only it had an engine. The sales would be INSANE!!

If that is the "coolest feature" of that thing, it is a sad gimmick to grab onto for over 70K. Would expect something exciting like it is fully autonomous including parking itself and plugging itself in after you get out. ;)

The COOLEST THING ABOUT THE ID BUZZ IS THE FLN $75K PRICE and the LONG RANGE of 230 MILES !! THEY NEED TO GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD WITH THIS ONE THEY MISSED THE BOAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A HYBRID WITH A DIESEL OPTION OR A BATTERY THAT GIVES YOU AT LEAST 500 TO 1000 MILES
