There is a reason for Italy to have the "annoying voice." That was actually part of the gag . Italy was seen be the other Axis powers as being the quote "soft underbelly" of Eroupe. And Germany and Japan felt like they had to keep bailing them out. That "annoyingness" is just how Japan at the time felt about them. I read too much history.

Sheesh! I never thought I'd see Nils front and center on a thumbnail to a video that'll definitely get at least 50k views haha This was the 2nd blu-ray release I ever worked on, and I was quality checker so I watched the entire thing as well looking for errors, so at least I was paid to watch it 😅 I did enjoy it fwiw, tho I agree it didn't warrant 4 cours without a more substantive narrative, too episodic and narrow cast.
