A number of people have asked if they can help support my channel - I don't have any adverts on my channel (and don't intend to) but if anyone wishes to help defray the expenses of making these videos in some small way, they can buy me a cup of coffee! https://www.buymeacoffee.com/MarkJohnMaguire

@PegLegCraig

You have been missed, sir! Only you can approach this case with class and dignity, not the low-hanging fruit of sensationalism. I could feel the horror and the history unfold. As always it's been a pleasure.

@Jubilee33382

For me, this was the most distressing case you have covered. Oh that poor boy realising they were about to slaughter him… just ghastly. Wonderfully narrated and comprehensively discussed, as always.

@cheryljohnson7091

Gruesome and tragic, but this story is my favorite from Mark John Maguire to the current date. I have listened and re-listened to every one of his artful episodes. What fascinated me most was review of legal analysis, ethics, and the profound impact of the case on the concept of "necessity" to commit a crime. Thank you to Mr. Maguire for sharing his abilities and talents with the rest of us.

@taika.melissa2798

Nice to see you're back! I've missed your excellent videos 😊

@Petitedelight87K

Welcome back, I will listen to this tonight! What a treat 🥰

@rachelprovenzale5678

You were missed, Mark! Glad you’re back. Couldn’t wait to listen once I had the chance. Thanks for sharing another incredible case.

@thewrongalice1

Great to have you back! An early Christmas present for sure. So well written that I can listen to your content more than once. Keep up the amazing work and all the best wishes of the season to you!!

@bartrumtantrum

Great writing and narration, both in equal measure.

@Buffalonie

Glad to see you back! Another great episode and I can't wait to read the new book!

@karenmcdonald7801

Great to have a new episode, I look forward to them immensely.
That poor lad, it was definitely murder.

@2shiftsleeper

I've been checking with you everyday! And now I missed it by 11 hours? 😢

@primesspct2

Well told, and I must say a thorough examination of the issue.

    I believe we all sit back and say "Not I", but how many have the heroic fortitude under duress, to hold true to our words?

@LoveMyDaisyGirl911

Glad to see yu again 🙌🏽💗

@charlotte-mg9wj

Hooray! I know what I’ll be watching tonight!

@utkonos9

Very interesting one, this! Something a bit different.

I recently came across the most interesting case of "getting away with murder" which I have ever seen: the Soghoman Tehlirian case. I'm not sure if it's the kind of thing you would want to cover, but basically someone assassinated an exiled Turkish politician in Germany and was acquitted by a German jury on the grounds that the murder was justified as revenge for genocide.

Anyway, I'm sure you will find plenty of interesting cases, whatever happens! Thanks for making these videos! They're always fascinating!

@Nishtawa

As usual, a well thought out narrative!

@user-zp9br7jk9k

excellent story !!
i love your videos.

@sheilaking1300

Thank you for posting. Listening whilst cooking Sunday lunch.

@MerrilynHoskins

Dear Mr Maguire, thank you again for your delightful introductions, and your skill of the use of words, your voice and your inimitable turn of phrase.
I your more recent episodes you have introduced 2 more books on Amazon.
I have bought your first 5 quite easily but Amazon doesn’t seem to have anything of yours at all?!
Have your latest editions and all others sold out?
I have the Australian version of Amazon but it automatically shows listings from international sellers.
If you have sold out, then I am delighted for you. Can you please let me know how I can acquire your latest 2 books?
Merrilyn.
