When fighting Briton’s always remember to keep it short and keep it stabby
Thanks for an excellent presentation. I joined the U.S. Army in January of 1967 & served for 3 years, including a combat tour of Viet Nam. I thought we had it rough until learning what was expected of a Roman soldier. We were babies compared to the Roman military, & serving for 16 or 25 years under those conditions seems incomprehensible to me !
Another great and informative video, thanks so much!
1.10 "Britain was a land of ghoulish nightmares". So, just like today?
Man your narration is really good, liked and subbed👍
Great video. Well made and interesting. I enjoyed the story and the style. Something I don't see a lot of and it was a really good way to get information across and make a fun video. Thanks man.
Awesome video
My feet hurt just by hearing this. Great video.
Very cool....thanks for this.
Excelent video, once again! keep it up!
Cheers everyone! Thanks to everyone who followed from the VR channel your comments/likes/views are appreciated! :) Expect a regular schedule of shows as well as a monthly show on the VR Channel to keep it from completely fading away! REQUESTS: Also, let me know what periods/locations of history interest you and I can work them in to the channel at some point! Right now, its going to be Ancient Rome for a bit but have plans on covering Chinese dynasties, medieval Japan, Ancient Persia, Medieval Europe are all going to be covered to various degrees.
Nicely done - personalises the experience while informing about the routines, equipment etc that directly affects the focus - the young plebian Gaius as he travels, trains and evolves into the legionnaire that arrives on the shores of Britannia, enjoying this. Looking forward to more.
Very nicely done, Epyx!
Am à fan !! Subscribed!

Very interesting ☺
UPDATE APRIL 2020: Im aware its not "Legionairre" but "Legionary"...was an older video one of my first and my editing missed a few things :) The opening video portion was me experimenting with effects and should have not been included...oh well. Main news: THE SERIES WILL RESUME SOON! So if you have or are enjoying this series it will be back! Sub and set the notification bell for when.
Nice job of describing the life of a Roman soldier, the description of battles are very entertaining.
UPDATE: There has been an upsurge in popularity for the "Yore History" series. THESE WERE THE FIRST VIDEOS ON THE CHANNEL. PLEASE REALIZE THE MUSIC VOLUME WAS TOO LOUD AND ALL OF THE LAST YEAR AND A BITS VIDEOS DO NOT SUFFER FROM THIS :)
