@QueenCheese93

I got lucky with my 4th grade teacher. She said "practice makes permanent" meaning how you practice is how you'll perform.

@Nikelaos_Khristianos

It’s like uncle Vesemir always said, “Don’t train alone, you only embed your errors.”

@JackSack-w5h

Not the Dark ages of the League Era 😭

@boxers_

Dr K smurfing confirmed

@SanctusFlame

My middle school choir teacher always told us "practice makes habits" and that always stuck with me.

@HWCWTD

'Make it stick - the science of learning'. It's a fantastic book on learning. Some of it is quite unintuitive, even counterintuitive. Highly recommend it.

Practice makes Permanent

@keydenedward2612

dr k is definitely getting boosted, he’s too busy helping others and spreading wisdom

@jeffreysherman8224

I had a music teacher in middle school who said the same thing. Perfect practice makes perfect. If you do it wrong many times, you just learn to do it wrong. Then you have muscle memory of the wrong way to do it. You have to do it right the first time slowly or a few measures at a time, then instill that into your mind.

Practice Makes Progress, Never Perfect

@farkasmactavish

Blood & Iron HEMA, for all its controversy, put this in words I really like:
"If you train how you'll fight, you'll fight how you trained."

@j-mc2144

The fact that dr k is actively playing DOTA is awesome but it just reads funky.

@artemda5689

I learned this too. I watch your videos and try to improve my life and mmr even more. I trained my friend for a year, helping him with my gaming knowledge - in a year he was able to raise his mmr by 300 -> 5100 - 5400. Recently I changed my approach to training, and passed it on to him. Within 2 months he gained 2 thousand mmr -> 5300 - 7300 mmr.

@goldenegg7447

When I played overwatch 1 I was hardstuck bronze for a few years.

@TemmieMinh

A psychiactrist playing Dota is somewhat funny.

@xStatikos

True, they use to tell us practice how you play

@plantidentificationnewzeal9032

I started with practice and learnt how great it is

@marisbarkans9251

idk i just realized that when i was about 14. the same way as no matter how hard you want to learn something you cant if you rly rly hate it. The same as forcing yourself to learn when you couldn't care less.

@chronos5940

Our Gabe, who art in Valve's Offices. Today I learned that Dr K plays Dota. Amen.

@podcastinghubtv9357
