@ghostlord2128

Thank you so much I do not know much about computers but with this tutorial I now know what to do

@rollomaughfling380

Thank you for making a DIY video that gets right to the point clearly, no harping on, and still pleasant to watch. It's a rarity.

@Marslee

Just did this, thank you so much! I have never opened a laptop, I don't even know what RAM is.

@RickFlow777

2024 here 🫡, I have a 2010 mac book still , recently started doing this.

This is what I did and it worked! I took out the Ram plates and switched them. Bottom to top and top to bottom. I also used an air can to clean the ram connection like a N64 (if you know you know)

And wala! It worked 🫡

@graphene1487

plenty of great information in this video. simple and to the point. Thank you!!

@BookProX

Thanks Ash! I composed the music piece for this video tutorial about 4 days ago. I am glad you like it :)

@BongConcepcion

This is very helpful. Thanks for sharing.

@freeusegameplay1609

Can you lead me in the way of where you got that ram and how much it was?

@BookProX

If RAM is 1333MHz and obviously higher in clock frequency than original memory, it should not be a problem. The new RAM will run cooler and will perform better than the original because is not stressed at all, but it must be type SODIMM DDR3 kind of chip. It will not run at its max rated speed, but with what is at the RAM BUS clock on your computer.

@monkeybottomsTV

How worried should I be about static electricity charges when doing this?

@2002TrueBlueGT

I've been looking into this and thinking about doing it. Do you have a link to where I can buy the RAM? Also, the benefits is that the computer will be faster, or run more efficiently? would you say it is worth it??

@ashleypurrs

Terrific tutorial and music.

@dr.jinyoungxx

hi! i have this old toshiba laptop which says supports ddr3 1066mhz ram i5 480m cpu. i have found some 1066mhz online but costs a bit higher compared to 12800mhz. will this 12800mhz work on my laptop?

@pedroguedes127

i want to upgrade my MB pro 13' mid 2010, but i can only find this model "SODIMM 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Corsair" the difference is the 1333MHz, is that a problem? thx

@kenny2268

can i put late 27" late 2012 model RAM into this?

@muratguvenel1779

Thank you

@nanknano4051

Awesome video! I'm going to try this myself. Thank you!

edit: Will this work with the 13inch as well?

@nixypixels6440

Great vid! Did this make a signifigant difference in performance?

@GabryGTV

Hi, can I add 16GB kit (2 x 8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800,1600MHz on this?

@jaaycarrillo6947

So I tried to put in an 8GB ram with a 2GB ram and there was a glitch in the start up. So I switched back to 2GB & 2GB. I've been reading the mid 2010 15' Mac Pros only are compatible with 8GB Rams was wondering if the slot can take only one 8GB ram chip. Or do I need two 4GB Ram chips
