For all we know, this could be veo3 generated.
After a long time, a Sundar Pichai interview that feels natural and genuine, not scripted and stiff. Thanks for putting this together.
We still need an Ilya update Lex 😜❤
Conversations like this remind me how fast the future is coming. Lex brings the curiosity, Sundar brings the vision and somewhere in between, you catch a glimpse of where humanity might be headed
He hadn’t even seen a computer by 12 years old, now children hold them in the palm of their hand, with the entirety of worldly knowledge, as toddlers.
When I think of the largest leap, it has to be electricity. 1752 when Ben Franklin conducted his kite experiment to 273 years later to AI is the fastest period of technological evolution in history. Once we harnessed electricity, our technological advancement entered a hyper-accelerated period.
Great interview! Please bring Ilya Suts back to catch up! Its been a while!
Google's algorithm recommended this Video 💯
I similarly remember growing up without electricity and then at 6 years old having it and it changed my whole view of that evolving scape of how technology can improve lives. Amazing work Lex
This is the first time I’ve listened to someone speak about A.I and they’ve made me feel optimistic and excited about the possibilities. Very much enjoyed this interview with Sundar, what an incredibly interesting guy. You’re the man to Lex!
Lex has the most soothing voice of any podcaster out there.
I was working for google serving the Waymo car in SF. After being there for years I admire the work and projects google working for. They are good people and they work hard for projects that help the whole humans. Big respect to this man and everyone at google helping the google projects
So humble while being at the most elite level.
Wonderful and beautiful conversation, thank you both 🙏
Sundar or Google's team, in case you're reading, 2 things I'd suggest you improve: 1. Basic things about Gemini: Gems should be shareable, as OpenAI's CustomGPTs. Also, CustomGPT Plus lets you create "Projects" to keep things tidy, while Gemini Advanced has just one bucket of chats...also it sometimes seems to forget what you have talked in the past, making it unuseful as a "personal agent" for life. 2. As Google's suite of tools expands, it's getting confusing for users to identify what to use for what. Could you simplify/concentrate it? I mean: Vertex, Firebase, Flutter and Colab; Flow, Veo, Imagen, Lyria; Project Astra, Mariner, Aura, Diffusion; Gemini and Gemma (and all the submodels). I understand that technology/organizationally-wise this may seem to be a reasonable setup, but for end-users it's a nightmare. I love your products and everything you do for humanity. Best.
loved the thoroughness and breadth of the conversation, and your closing monologue
If I ever hit the lottery I’ll donate mucho dinero to meet Lex.😬 We need people like Lex in EVERY aspect of life. Someone who is willing to listen and learn. I wish he was the leader of UFO’s or archeology.
Lex, I'm a Spaniard who has never been able to fully understand English. Since artificial intelligence allows for instant voice dubbing these days, I would be eternally grateful if you could implement this on your YouTube channel so I could understand the brilliant minds you bring to your incredible podcast.
I'm just a couple years older than Sundar and grew up in Midwest America. We only had 3 TV stations and we had a rotary phone. It was actually a good thing. Miss those days.
