I instantly recognized those gums bc that's exactly what mine used to look like when I didn't brush them AT ALL while i was severely depressed a few years ago. Like this lady has to not be brushing her teeth at all for her gums to be looking like this. Idk if she's going through anything, but i hope her situation improves and she actually starts taking care of herself

I just noticed that this same girl was ROASTED by a dermatologist by how rough she is with her skin and how bad her routine is. I can't believe now she is in a similar situation with a dentist 😭😭😭😭

As a Registered Nurse, I noticed the gums immediately because patients who present with swollen gums like hers are due to certain medications not necessarily related to bad hygiene. Anti-seizure drugs like phenytoin, immunosuppressants like cyclosporine, and calcium channel blockers for blood pressure, such as amlodipine can cause this. Certain progesterone containing anticontraceptive oral medication have been known to cause this as well. With all due respect to the dentist, as a healthcare professional I would not have assumed is because she has poor dental hygiene prior to knowing her medical history or medication list.
