Belal finally put on a fight that gained him many many fans. If this dude would’ve done this from the start he wouldn’t have been bullied on his way to the top. It’s not so much the grappling that makes him boring it’s that he does absolutely no damage after a takedown and holds for dear life. These wrestlers are slowly getting fraud checked and it’s a beautiful to watch. Hopefully after nickal getting smoked they will start to incorporate damage when they get a takedown. Belal felt like he had something to prove. Unfortunately that cost him the fight. He picked the WORST opponent to have a striking match with but he looked damn good walking through all those punches and throwing back like a true champion.

People should realize Belal had a lot of success with his striking in that fight. He clearly wasn’t very interested in wrestling, looks like he took the boring fighter talk personally.
