@TomLehockySVK

I swear i read "Step forward" on EVERY EXISTING F1 GAME ! It needs to stop being steps, it needs to be a game worth buying more than just once every 3 - 5 years with how little is being added or improved. At 12:27 ... what solid foundation ? You mean one that was made back in 2016 already ?? People should just not buy this anymore because we will not get anything other than "steps and foundations" .

@tallesttreeintheforest

im done with these annual games, they are a scam.

@longestday9727

2020 was the best F1 game ever. Handling, audio, graphics, classic cars.

@mudworld-m8j

5:58 Why would you defend this? Adding in better FFB would be a trivially easy thing for them to add as an option, regardless of it being a simcade or not. Tiny studios with two employees manage to cram more features into their games than a franchise that has 20 years of experience making the same exact game.

@tubularcandy812

My favorite F1 game in terms of atmosphere is F1 2010. I loved when you pressed start you heard a screaming V8. And the engineer who went completely crazy and was over the moon with wins and championships. The 25 engineer is like: yeah you champion, nice. Next

@traviss9059

Nice to see Codemaster's graphics are still 10 years behind random sim game companies on PC.

@CardinalMB9

1:36 I do not agree that removing the driver-owner aspect was removed in the name of “accuracy”. Being a driver-owner was one of the coolest elements of MyTeam because it truly felt like you were your own boss in that mode. This had no reason to be removed under the excuse of “realism” in a game that is also selling a Hollywood team as DLC

@ShadowWolfe

My favorite F1 game is 23 and 2020. Best of the pure EA and pure Codemasters eras respectively. A game that doesn't celebrate the 75th year of F1 doesn't deserve my money.

Personally, I disagree with the rating. 6 or 6.5/10 is what I feel. MyTeam getting a refresh is great, the changed handling is great.

But reverse tracks, 5 LIDAR scanned tracks, Braking Point (which should just be a personal player/career story mode anyway), APXGP, and accurate trees at Suzuka isn't the way to go to celebrate the 75th year of Formula One. They missed the mark there, big time.

Imagine if Codies released a "normal" F1 2020 game without the option for classic cars.

@tobiasf1

F1 2020 remains the gold standard.

@gatostao.official

My favorite F1 game is Automobilista 2

@Pe11ePD

F1 series are one of these games that are best to be purchased every 2-3 years, even for die-hard fans. The amount of added features and physics "improvements" in every sequel is so small, that after 2-3 years you can finally tell "Ok, maybe now is the time to get new one?"

@aarongreen121

IS IT REEEEALLLY? 😂 brand new physics engine, totally reworked FFB etc etc etc. I got fooled several times by reviewers, never again. It's new skins and the odd new track.

@quigglyz

Not buying F1 games until EA loses the license

@SqueakyBe

Automobilista 2 is currently my favourite F1 game with F1 2020 in 2nd.

@M1tZk1

F1 2020 Michael Schumacher Edition got me into the Series and I really loved it.

@queenmelodis

f1 2020 and 2019 are the ones i like to go back to due to 2020's good handling and 2019's even older cars than 2020 had

@boostedmedia

Nice summary guys! Was your in game footage captured on the PS5 version? The cars look like they're hovering in this footage, especially in wet weather.

@IISnakeyII

Fav F1 Sim: Microprose Formula 1 Grand Prix from 1991. Probably spent a combined 2 years of my life on that game.

@TomLehockySVK

4:02 that is nothing new and has been a thing since F1 2022.

@sillymonkE73

I’d happily take more laser scanned circuits in lieu of gimmicky reversed tracks
