Mikey: If it's not 100% accurate, it's 50% accurate. Nosepass with a 34.2% accurate Rock Tomb: Alright bet.
“Is this your entire personality?” “Generally yes”
Mikey spent the whole video calling Gyarados Old Reliable but Mighthyena proved once again who truly is the Old Reliable
1:22:50 I know Team Sky is more of a force for good now, but letting a world ending meteorite hit if Team Sky didn't get to catch Rayquaza is super villain level pettiness.
team sky: no stone steven stone: gets mikey mega evolution and a latios team sky: maybe one stone
Deoxys: KO's Mega Rayquaza Mikey, floating in outer space on an unconscious dragon: ...well, crap
"You know what, never mind, doesn't matter, you're stupid." Once again, Mikey has managed to make ad reads that I not only don't skip through, but sometimes go back to watch again. The man is an artist.
Zinnia: "Ever since i was a little girl, I have always turned my eyes up to the sky" Micky: "SAME!" Me: "You were a little girl?"
You know, funny thing, actually: Apparently, the meteor isn’t really a threat in that other Hoenn. It just breaks apart upon entry and lands somewhere in the Sevii Islands, and Deoxys just sleeps like nothing ever happened.
17:45 "Is this your entire personality?" "Generally, yes." "Jesus, Ta Ta." "Now I can ascend. . . " Confirmed Team Sky Mikey has a God complex.
Can we just appreciate Michael's acting skills? These aren't scripted, he's reacting to the game's events while staying in character. While he doesn't do wildly different voices for every character in these playthroughs, he often subtly shifts his tone, inflection, and energy to match the roleplay. In his Team Sky's playthroughs he embodies the ambitious, somewhat over-the-top, yet ultimately good-hearted leader, Mikey, who used to think he was villainous, but he maintains this persona throughout the entire series, from his declarations of "Go Team Sky!" to his justifications for using Flying-type Pokémon. While he's playing characters, there's also an underlying sense of his genuine personality shining through. This relatability helps him connect with his audience, and a good actor can make even a fictional character feel real. He also has good comedic timing, as he is good in delivering punchlines, reacting to in-game events, and building up jokes, stuff like that. Even though it is technically not traditional acting, he's incredibly effective at what he does within his niche.
Dude 4 years is insane I felt like it has only been 1 or 2
GB: "Is this your ENTIRE personality?" Skyikey: "Generally, yes!" This was sooo good
39:39 "You might as well name the thing the Titanic" GOT ME ROLLING ON THE FLOOR
1:15:45 "WE HAVE DENTAL!!!" I wasn't prepared for that XD
"Because unlike Boeing it will stay in the air" that is the best roast I've ever heard
43:49 Fun fact: The reason that Archie probably lost to Maxie is because his Sharpedo has NO Water attacks.
Expanding the sky is isn't just a dream. It's an ideology. The sky represents freedom, and so by expanding it, Team Sky brings freedom to everyone.
13:25 The sequel to “You and your dress shall fall!”
