@Mikesco3

I would include setting up a plan for loved ones to get in, in the event we were incapacitated (taking care of the bus factor).
I see this occasionally where a spouse or a mother has to try to get into a deceased persons account.
So having a documented password recovery plan in a safe place is something worth considering in some cases.

Just wanted to say thank you, I really enjoy your channel and your excellent ability to convey information. Just an FYI, one thing I think important is that some of these programs are open source and for me that is an important feature to know about. Once again, thank you.

Jason, if I pay for single family member, and I put 1Password on several devices (laptop, iPad, iPhone, etc.)?

@davidkleiner3292

This was an awesome overview Jason. Thanks!

@deookello3825

I learnt a lot concerning the different password managers thanks Jason

@bob-p7x6j

You said "using an online password manager, is still better than not using one", so, are you saying that a password manager is safer than writing my passwords down on paper and putting them in manually? Don't really know which way is safer, obviously doing it manually takes longer.....But these aren't accounts I need every day or all at once...

@jimfromri

Great video. Question: do any of the password managers integrate with IOS apps? Or do they only work with browsers? If they don’t work with apps that seems like a big limitation given how most people function with their phones.

@elenaceausescu7297

your intro is funny:)))

@Tech-geeky

offline password mangers are actually better, because their not connecting to the internet.. While you don't have sync between devices, what is better ? Convenience, or privacy? In this day and age people would rather risk attacks, just for convenience any day...Privacy can't be that important. However, everyone thinks their secure, till a public statement comes out, which is after the horse has bolted..

I would rather secure lock so the bloody horse cannot get out at all. (😡)I do use Lastpass (...thinking of switching to Bitwarden), but no matter what ,your still in the same "horse bolting" situation.. I'd rather try and minimize my privacy, not expose it more. Too me anyway, that is the only thing that matters.

Thankfully if a breach does occur, i'm still minimized because all of the info is fake... even on my passwords/websites in my vault, so i'm in the same position, regardless what they do. To me, that's always a plus.

@josephseven9121

What do you think of the C2 password manager?

@allezvenga7617

Thanks for your wonderful sharing!

@RiantHoff

Why 1Password? What about Dashlane and Nordpass? In terms of security.

@HATipsByLarry

While your self hosted theory about more IT pro's making your passwords more safe (lastpass breach comes to mind here) has validity to it, you forgot that teams of hacker's target these companies sites because they do host so many peoples passwords. I self host my password manager (vaultwarden) but i am careful about how it is protected. Plus i don't think a team of hackers are coming after me. Could be wrong there but have been doing this for a while and so far haven't had any problems yet.

@tiasol4105

Any thoughts on Nortons password manager? Is it worth the cost?

@SoNY-arianto

usually free is not safe..

@gtg238s

Smh … stop using pwd cloud storage . Did we not learn from last pass??? 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
