Thank you Laura fir this great video. We live far away from my family, so it's easier just to send cash. That way the receiver can buy whatever they want to.

I love the experience mixed in with the personal care gifts - a massage, facial, nails, pedicure. Those are so fun to give… and receive!

I switched to consumable gifts for my mom about a decade ago. Once she was in her late 80s, there was nothing she really needed for her home, she didn't travel much, and she had accumulated closets filled with clothing. I discovered my mom enjoyed getting new types of teas, jams, and sweets. She liked to bake so I would also gift her specialty baking kits. Lotions and lip balms were a big hit too. She is in an assisted living facility now, and many of these consumable gifts are something she still looks forward to each holiday and birthday. Thanks for sharing your list of great gift ideas.

I like to send floral arrangements especially for their home at the holidays. Something they can enjoy and they don’t have to keep! Lynch Farms is a great place for wreaths and centerpieces and offer some good sales!!

Thanks, Laura, this video is right on time! I have been hanging on to gifts for OVER 10 years (still in boxes) just for sentimental reasons. It is time to regift them! I love what my mother-in-law says, "If I can't spend it or eat it, I don't want it!". 🙂

Any Craft supplies. Things that I will use up through the year--and "can never have enough". Example: printing paper, pop dots, Craft glue. AND... my hair products that cost a fortune ! I agree.. useful items are the best ( well, at my age.. this may be a "depending on your age" type thing.. )

My family is so small and or passed gift giving isn't for us anymore. One grandson gets a little cash and adults have chili dinner on Christmas Day at our daughter's house if able to go. You have great ideas for larger families.

@ecto78

I know this might cause clutter somewhat, but I received an off brand Comfy one year, and I LOVE it!! I use it daily in the winter.

Great ideas! Thank Laura 👍

@sandrafisher2280

Great ideas! I especially like the experience ideas.

@pattikino9140

Love your ideas! I have used Paper Pumpkin & enjoy making cards the most. When I subscribed, you could not view the next months project in case you wanted to skip that month. Edible gifts are the best too!

@wikicalendar

Thank you so much!

@ckmusicmom

One way to keep track of gift ideas is an app like Gifted or Santa’s Bag. I keep all of my gifting info there!

@kimhouchins8653

I give gifts ALWAYS that is totally specific to that person. I shop all through the year. Also- am I crazy or did I just see this very same video a week ago??

@myaccount9498

My go to Christmas gifts to avoid gifting clutter are: chocolates, dried fruit (that I've dried during year) or nuts. Occasionally I'll gift Christmas themed disposable serviettes/napkins

@cynthiagames3275

I bake Focaccia and scored loaves. Or cookies.

@hikari1183

My daughter loves Kiwi crate!
