@DaddyKing603

This is the best introduction to Flex I've seen. So well done. I've been trying to understand it. Especially the main loop screen.

@mugenDelta

keep smiling, bro. u make the world a little better

@busywl69

No wonder over 100,00 songs are uploaded to Spotify per day. Index finger power!!!

@lujoraymond9800

Kontakt 8 leap is like arcade with less kits but you don’t have to pay monthly

@Synthesizerperegrine

I think the chords for the guitar should have an option to adapt to “realistic” chords - limited to 6 notes and with correct fingerings - they sound like piano chords on the guitar.

@robertruff8050

That was really good Sanjay because I wasn't going to download it not knowing what 8 Player was about being that I am JUST getting Kontakt 7. I'll check it out now. I sensed some inspiration after reviewing your post.

@FrankBell

Does anyone know if there is an easy or intuitive way to record the audio of the chords and phrases to midi live? Thanks in advance for any help!

@PGvideoinc

Thanks Sanjay, this video is right up there if ever I needed an excuse to play around making sounds!

@dagtastik

Also worth mentioning, if you're a current Kontakt owner, the update is $99. However, you get that back immediately with a $99 voucher. As someone who doesn't typically use tools that basically do all the work for you, I will say the stuff included in Kontakt 8 are pretty useful.

@KiddingMartin

I can’t play an instrument but I write songs and melodies naturally - by humming/singing. If there’s a tool that can give me the chords I hear in my head, I’m all for it. But I’d absolutely pick up piano lessons whenever I’m able to afford it. I see people who play instruments commenting against pre-made chords. What’s your problem?! You play the piano? Shut up and celebrate the fact you can do it and make music.

@margaretchristo6859

Enjoyed your comprehensive review of Kontakt 8. Your videos are informative and well produced. Thank you.

@YoYo-lk6us

This is good for live playing or showing of , but it'll musicians more lazy to lean music theory and playing instruments, still instruments are more fun to play and learn

@satyabratasatapathy6615

We need this in komplete control

@Cubase-sb8nn

Maybe I'm just getting old, but I find this all rather depressing - pre-made chord packs, phrase packs, loops etc, it feels like the antithesis of creativity. And why would you tinker around, changing separate, single parameters to see what sound it throws up, when you've got unlimited, multi-factor options at your finger tips, that you can change instantly depending on what you're feeling or hearing in your head.

@voLumez

This is amazing 🤩

@hintzundkuntz6208

OMG, all this new features, instant chords, "melodies" (?!), presets, use-ready loops, ect. Wo needs this? Are these NI's new target clients? People who can't come up with own chords and melodies? Really??
Just more of that fancy pseudo-AI bullshit...
Sanjay, there are some topics to a new version of Kontakt, that would be of great interest:
- Are we still getting kicked into the 90s the moment we want to work on the samples under the hood?
- Did NI at last fix the crappy multi output management?
- Did they finally modernize this Dinosaur/Frankenstein from the ground up?
Or is it only make up and marketing AGAIN?
This would be a really interesting video...
Cheers, Tobias

@JarardKenneth

Oh wow cool!

@JCSPartituraseArranjos

No thinking harmony one button, but the sounds are good.

@yurikalashnikov2460

Native Instruments can’t wait to tap into that non-musician market.
