Good job ! A friend who is very familiar with the Command hooks warned me that yes, it's gonna be flush to the wall and don't use grommet curtains. So I exchanged the purchased ones for a set of rod pocket curtains. Love the idea of using Command hooks for a rental !!!

I did a search here on YouTube for āblackout curtain rodsā and when your video came up I clicked on it because the image was so beautiful - but omg - I did not expect this. I have curtain rods but was looking for rods that hang super close to the window for my blackout curtains as regular rods are so far from window and let a lot of light through the top - this literally solves the problem, and I donāt have to buy new rods!! Iām so so grateful to you for sharing!!!! Your room is so beautiful btw! Stay healthy and safe! All the best! ā¤ļø

I literally just did this two days ago! It came out good but the only thing is the command hooks donāt come out far from the wall so the curtains tend to look a little smushed to the wall. Other than that they look good and was super easy
