Wow! What a life they have, keeping busy, bonding with nature, and acting as caretakers of this beautiful property. The additions to the original cottage are perfect, totally in keeping with the authentic Craftsman quality and esthetic. I love the kitchen & dining room area, especially the tiles and repurposed oak leaf carving. They are so knowledgeable about the wetlands and forest management. A joy to see what they have done.

I believe I have seen this before. Loved it then and love it even more now. Yes, I remember the Japanese soaking tub -- and thinking -- now that --- is really sooo clever ! Americans sometimes ruin period properties by painting over the original dark wood features…thank God these guys appreciate the dark wood…so fitting. What a beautiful small and truly cozy cottage ❤. The outdoors and views…just 😮 …they are truly blessed 😊❤. Wonderful people ❤❤

I rarely comment on a YouTube video, but had to with this video.i love everything about it - the house, the moss path, just imagining how fabulous the events there are, the love of the dogs and mostly the two gentlemen. I stopped watching these videos because too many were obnoxiously expensive, oversized and obviously had designers do them up. This one, however, seems more organic, less ostentatious and a cozy size. These two gents honored the surroundings and the home's character. Best video yet, imo.

This home exudes quality; every detail carefully chosen to enhance the space. Perfect flow from one room to the next. The wood used throughout has an old world charm as if each piece, be it a doorway or table, were hand rubbed to perfection. It's all in the details, hand thrown tiles, copper countertops, artwork from friends, the hidden bathtub is genius. The home envelopes the outdoors becoming one with nature, the trails are amazing; these guys must never stop working. Love your doggies, thank you for sharing.
