George was one of the greatest humans to ever live. Rip king
George helped me through a very hard moment in my life with laughter. But his wisdom resonated inside, unknown then but his lol's were more then laughter. R.I.P. The world's smartest man.
Few people still understand how right he was. When he said people are willing to slowly give away freedoms for a sense of security my wife looked up from her phone and asked “who are you listening to?” She was completely unaware of Carlin’s existence. I am definitely going to expose her to him this weekend.
Preach my man. I grew up listening to Garlen when he was old and I was 12. I got what he meant then and it helped build my scepticism about the world its politicians, celebrities, and corporations are trying to tell you what's good for you. Thank you for this great video that put a smile on my face.
George Carlin- Always a legend.
Talmbout George Carlton, B?
I agree with a lot of what he said, and consider him the greatest to ever do it imo. Even above Pryor, Hicks, Chapelle, etc. But where he failed to sell his narrative no matter is to address “Who is ‘they’?” And why are ‘they’ doing it. “To manipulate/control you” but to do what? He needed to add that bottom line. RIP Carlin, you were eight
You got one thing wrong here imo. And that’s George’s dialogue on climate change. I of course don’t know his true views on the subject but when he talked about it, he talked about how the earth will be fine, it’s us humans who won’t be. We all know the earth is going to be fine, the concern is whether or not the earth will continue to support human life.
Sure, I'll do it.... First
You had me until “don’t care about the environment, because we’re all gonna die anyways and plastic with be the new h2o” … “the planet will heal” you cut out the part where he said “we may not be here, but the planet will be fine” 🙄🙄🙄
