@8u88letea

my god a phone without a camera bump? take my money

@aurelian1

I've used the 9a and this is bang-on. You could ditch a flagship for this without feeling like you've lost too much.

@KEYBEATZ

My moms just brought one, and man this phone flies!

@Fyahking619

I love this phone. This is all the 99% of the population needs.

@SicErikTech

I believe it's a fantastic phone. Those bezels are ridiculous lol! There are cheaper smartphones with way thinner bezels out there. Great video

@robertcampbellii9787

This phone is really affordable for me, but I'm not sure if I want to risk getting this and then being in an area with no coverage so that I am unable to request help as this will not have the satellite SOS and I think that a lot of people should also think about that before getting this phone.

@eamonob84

I’m thinking of switching from iPhone to Pixel. Probably gonna grab a used Pixel 7 for around $160. Better deal than getting an A series, I think.

@nathanmadox3364

i work for a carrier who will pretty much give these things away and ive talked so many customers down from an s25 or iphone 16 to one of these cause of the price. I'm so glad there's a true budget option I can feel good selling cause before the best hand out we had was the 8a but once those ran out of stock it was a freaking A16......Cant put into words the level of upgrade from that to this lol

@Kashouri

I actually use a Pro XL for my personal and picked up a 9A for work. It's an awesome device and certainly something I could use day to day. Screen is lovely, battery life is crazy and for me at least the phone is smooth as butter. For me though the biggest selling point was the design with no camera bump. More of that please.

@leocatz

After two Samsung phones failing this year, I was ready for a change. Almost went with the Apple 16e, but this is the better choice for me, especially at $150 less than the very comparable iPhone 16e.

@izalyusuf

It's $799 for 128gb and $939 for 256gb here in Singapore. What a scam by Google!

@colinshomepage1214

Just got this phone and its blown me away especially the camera, having owned pixel 8a and tried the puxel 9 pro the 9a is up there with the best.

@txsteve

I just purchased this phone last week and I'm happy with it!

@jamesmarchetti3286

Excellent technical analysis !!! Me and my friend we both bought iPhone 13 Pro Max when they first came out and we both need and getting pushed to Google Pixel 9a !!! Basically Google is marketing with their cellphone to get customers from other brands especially now currently many are leaving iPhones !!

@valuche5105

My first pixel phone after being a Samsung user, and I am hooked. Will most likely upgrade to another pixel in 4-5 years.

@lrwilliamsjr

I love my pixel 9A! I got it in April when it was released with a $100 discount from Google, making it $399. Google gave me $210 for my Pixel 7 as a trade-in. Out the door, my Pixel 9A only cost just $212 and some change! There was no reason not to buy it! It's a fantastic phone!

@zajebanosaurus

Every reviewer 5 years ago "camera bump is unacceptable ", now "no camera bump? Is just ugly". Every single one of them! The point is to go back to no camera bump, remember that you all

@andyH_England

With the Pixel 10 coming soon, there are great deals on the Pixel 9, and I would pay the extra $100 for that instead. However, I would wait for the 9a to fall to around $400 and see what the Pixel 10 is like. If you need an upgrade now, here in Europe, the choices are extensive, and although the Pixel 9a would be in my top 10 shortlist, there are much better choices. I would go with the A56, which is £160 cheaper (256GB comparison), or alternatively buy last year's flagship at around £500, and even resellers (new unopened) have the S25 at close to £550.

I understand this is from a Pixel fan and therefore very lovestruck, but to be honest, most $500 phones are now as good or better than this, and the Nothing Phone 3a Pro is cheaper with a lot going for it. But if you are also a Pixel fan, then the 9a for sub $500 will likely make you as happy as this reviewer.

I've got this phone. It's very good, easy to live with - no camera bump to snag your pockets on. Bezel size is not the big deal people make it out to be. If screen-bezel size is all important then buy a larger sized phone, or an edge phone.
