@Kivikesku

As a Finnish general said some years ago, "never underestimate the Russian tendency to shoot themselves in the leg".

@psem6021

Russian jokes are like their soldiers:

They never get old

@deepinthewoods8078

As a Russian troll, this video has made me realize my job is pointless. Unfortunately, there are no better jobs in Russia right now ...

@superfluous9726

As a Frenchman I can confidently say, once our enemies buy our weapons, they will never threaten NATO again

@beluga9596

Indo french relations are pretty deep though , they trace back to Cold War and even independence movement.
France was the only country with which India had a good relation even during peak cold war.

@h8GW

Ironically, the molotov cocktail isn't even a Russian/Soviet invention.

@kurousagi8155

Yeah, this is bigger than most people think. Russia is dependent on the export markets to get economies of scale to make defense projects economically viable.

If this continues, Russia will not be able to afford to continue to develop the next generation of arms for their own country.

@ReviveHF

Romania is buying F-16 to replace the MIG-21, and Malaysia is considering to replace the remaining SU-30MK2 with F/A-18E Super Hornet(The same Super Hornet jet that Taiwan ROC is interested in).

@malitiemmanuel1321

This war has taught many countries a valuable lesson.
"Self sustainability is essential"

@CaptainDangeax

Some years ago, everybody laughed upon the Dassault Rafale. Now it's the second best selling fighter jet just behing F35

@Miamcoline

Thank you. Finally. Someone saying it. India and Serbia realising that a war with NATO is far less likely than a war where they will need or depend on NATO support.

@jer-in-ch

Would have been worth mentioning that part of Sowjet weapon (and space) systems were developed or built in Ukraine.
Ukraine even was supplying Russian arms production up to 2014.

@ChristianThePagan

The Soviet Union was a production powerhouse and you cold certainly get a whole bunch of T-72s or MiG-21s from the USSR, but getting spares out of the Soviet supply system a was a PITA. That's why you see a lot of re-engined Soviet tanks and 3rd party manufacturers in all sorts of places making spares for Soviet and Russian equipment.

@aleksandrpulnikov684

this prophet is from the same league, which claimed that Russia would run out of missiles by April 2022. then they said that Russian economy would shatter, which is even growing by 2% this year. then they boasted about some superior western gear, until Russians smoked it. of course, this fellow would say that leopards, challengers and abrams are meant to intercept Russian Lancets.
anyway, if this guy says that Russian arms sales are in trouble, he would not know that Russia is currently buying its own military gear, since Russia is fighting 50+ countries.
actually, the patriot in kiev intercepted a kinzhal quite nicely, by taking a hit

@Kellyssongabriel

Bro... Brics it's not a Military alliance competing with NATO! BRICS it's a group of mutual economic cooperation for emmerging countrys! That's nothing to do with defence industry and not even with defense against NATO

@erf3176

India was already looking to diversify weapons buys because they can't trust Russia when it comes to China. In a conflict between India and China, the best Delhi can hope for is that Moscow will sell to both sides. Worst case scenario, Russia decides their relationship with China is more important.

The video does a good job explaining how buyers need to beware that Russia can't fulfill new contracts because it can't deliver the weapons. But you also have to consider existing and ongoing older contracts are also in trouble. Systems bought years ago and delivered need maintenance and spare parts. There's usually also planned refurbishments. None of Russia's old clients can expect Russia to deliver on these things. If you are country X armed with Russian equipment that might not have spare parts available and your neighbor (country Y) with whom you are not friendly has Western weapons for which they can get all the spares, upgrades, and repair services... You are now at a serious disadvantage.

@martinbadoy5827

If you've seen Perun powerpoints, don't forget South Korea (which seems to be trying to get Poland to be their distributor in Europe)

@sogerc1

It's a compliment, really, if Russian trolls are trolling your channel.

@mikesuch9021

Even back in the seventies the Romanian and polish AK-47 were better than the Russian AK-47.
