I'm really glad that IBM is doing these and embracing what other companies are doing, rather than pretending that the outside world doesn't exist

@jasonrhtx

IBM's MoE is the best AI podcast around, something I look forward to every Friday. I like the variety of AI Researchers who have considerable practical industry experience implementing AI for clients, reading the latest research, and getting hands-on with the latest SOTA models. I also appreciate their sense of humor and that they aren't afraid to express their opinions and make predictions on future developments and market opportunities.

It seems wise for Anthropic to focus on coding assistants, because there is a lot of training data, and code is more structured and verifiable than other forms of generative AI. MCP is such a crucial connector to external tools/resources for LLMs. Privacy and security should be inspected on any MCP servers (remote or local) and clients, so auditing with MCP-Scan and MCPSafetyScanner should be highlighted more, IMHO.

There is so much hype in this industry, and we need to scrutinize the claims of CEOs and employees, as well as the infinite well of click-baiters promoting every LLM iteration as the end of humanity and ever so close to AGI. Thanks to IBM for helping keep our feet on the ground.

@drewbrewit

Bryan is doing a great job. Eager to see Tim back.

@ukkc4355

I am using LLMs to learn things I never had time to before. From the comfort of home. I never ever considered in my life that I would want to write a book or a screenplay. I'm learning all about writing, storytelling, literature, the writing process. All just for the fun of it. And these days, you can self publish a book if you want to. By the time I finish a screenplay, I might be able to use video gen AI to make the movie. Amazing time to be creative.

@shchekavytsia

Claude is something incredible! I am grateful to the entire team behind this great solution! My personal productivity has increased at least threefold.

@GEF6560AI

We use our 3 AI platforms in a collaborative way, and the results are phenomenal.

@DRINOMAN

Chris 😂 had me dying in the beginning since that’s how I felt too! I’m like bro run the effing command I’m not the coder…

@KiranBiliyawalaA

A great podcast, but not enough details of Claude 4 are covered. Might want to change the title.

@MidSeasonGroup

Very insightful discussion. Thank and keep them coming.

@EeBbEeNnn

Nice episode 👍🏾

@jestersi

Cartesian product is awefully specific

@Rocketguy250

Thanks

@CharleyTurner

The localhost joke was a microcosm of exactly what is going on right now lol

@raymobula

Ok, computer! 😂
Gave Claude 4 a shot in vs code. Holy cow. Combine with Gemini it’s wild how fast I was able to build a prototype.

@harshavardhanvenkatasaikot6861

So let me know what to learn now

@chonglee2306

Don't use Claude. I paid $20 a month and ended up paying the max $100 a month, but the conversation is so long that I have to open a new window, and when I start a new conversation, it completely forgets the previous conversation and when I teach it again, it just spits out random codes and the conversation goes on and on. Does the AI have Alzheimer's? It's a total idiot.

@rkenne1391

Good start EU but we should ramp up arm production and do better, this does not look like all in

@cylurian

It's magic when Python scripting!

@DanielL-ee7fe

The host doesn't need guests. I have no idea what he is rambling. Lock him up alone in a room. He will be talking non stop for 8 hours.

@dixztube

The woman was on point. The other guy meeh
