I’m 24 now I couldn’t wait to grow up. Now I’m in the worst depression ever. Not saying this to scare anyone but say it’s important to take actionable steps towards your future and what you want rather than what you are told to do.

@7R1N17Y

I'm 29, graduated from Harvard, now have a 100% remote full-time tech job, bought a big house, a nice car, and I have a boyfriend. I still feel like I've done nothing with my life. I need to do some soul-searching to see what to do for my 30s.

@PhantomTechnoid

You don't only get one shot at the age's of 18-24 that's a scarcity mindset. You get as many shots as you work for and make possible for yourself. Facts. Bet on yourself people. Because it's up to YOU to make anything happen which you can make whatever you want happen for yourself at ANY time provided you have the will power to do so. You can use any of the tools the world has to offer to make it. School, Trade School, Military, Contracting Jobs, Self Taught skills, Relationship Opportunities, or even if you have to work multiple dead end jobs in order to save to invest in other things. You just need to learn money management and budgeting from the start and build a plan from there. You don't have to depend on any school. I'm not discrediting schooling but you don't NEED it to be financially well off. Coming from someone who knows personally.

1.choices are chain reaction...
   Begin with end in mind
   Be purposeful with yout time and effort.
2. Build your human capital...
    Read self-development books such as Atomic habits..7 habits of highly effective people... Influence is your superpower..
Self study..work on time management skills...
More mature people are the one who constantly try to improve themselves...
4. Learn through other's life
5. Push yourself out of comfort zone..
6. Remember that it's your life..
     Believe in your own judgement..
Don't put pressure on yourself to win in some arbitrary race. Don't feel the need to force some productivity or achievement rating on what you've done with your life.
 •Treat your time like it's gold•
7. Priorities your happiness, health and fulfillment...
And apart from this video...one valuable lesson I have learned is that...Never let other people's perception of you dictate your behaviour..you will never grow as a person..But if you leave yourself open to experience despite what other think then you will learn and grow..✨🌼

@aarontheophilus8111

I am days away from being 25 so this vid is still for me ehehe. Anw, “don’t pressure yourself to winning some arbitrary race” is sunlight to my withering confidence.

@h3lene

I'm 28 now but I would've loved to hear this 4 years ago. Or when I was 18 😅 Thanks for talking about this! I know a lot of "new adults" will appreciate learning this

@Sutsbeee

1. Begin with end in mind
2. Being purposeful with time and effort
3. Learning from others mistakes
4. Not getting affected by others opinions of me cause they're only advisor not manager
5. Constantly seeking growth in life to improve myself
6. Prioritizing health and happiness

These are the keywords for me that i learned from this video. Thank you Amy 💚. Im really struggling through a lot these days but your videos give me a sense of hope that i can still achieve my dreams even though i failed a lot of times. And what im grateful about more is that i get to watch this video before i turn 18.

@dimplewhiskers4847

im currently 23 years old, and i feel stuck. stuck that i don't know what i'm doing. or am i really in the right path that i'm supposed to be. the pandemic took the "one shot in life" from me because those years are the height of covid-19. i never got to experience my first day in college or even attend my highschool graduation because it was cancelled with the growing number of covid cases in my country. everytime i think about those years lost, i look at myself and i still think that mentally, i'm my 18 year old me, waiting to graduate highschool and taking up the nerves to walk up on stage infront of 500 students in my class. but i never got to do that. i'll be 24 at the start of next year and i feel like i haven't experienced enough of life. maybe because i got depressed and 2 years was just me trying to keep myself alive everyday. it was a struggle to wake up. and i feel that i've wasted so much time accomplishing nothing. even now, i don't know if i'm doing enough to be where i want to be. the thought of my peers leaving me behind while they continue to go on and achieve amazing thing in life crushes me because i thought i would be there too right now, but that's not the case.

i stumbled upon your videos, and i hope i can learn and pick up some stuff to keep myself motivated to finish this degree. taking inspirations in life not as a life guide or self help book but a new way to see life itself, a new perspective on what to look for to finally enjoy living.

(so sorry for the "trauma dump," your videos really made me think about some stuff i would never think of on my own)

@obscuraxxxx

I'm 30 and feeling so purposeless right now... this video magically came upon my feed like it read my mind. <3

@ty1pagirl

I'm not 18-24 years old but I'm watching this video like that I am.

@TanishaDhopeshwar

I’m literally turning 25 in a few months and feeling so underwhelmed all the time thinking will it get better, my end has always been in my mind but I feel like I’m not worthy of that. I feel this guilt every time I am hanging out with friends and family

@lmaoaims

I just turned 20 and I’m so excited for this decade. I’m excited for the ups and downs, the successes etc… I’m so happy I found this video and I appreciate all the advice. I’m wishing everyone that watches this video all the best❤❤❤

@tanishkayadav1052

I love this video. This woman single handedly made me feel less guilty about my life. Every other video I watch tells me to hustle endlessly because once I'm 25 it's over. I won't be able to do anything. But she wiped that all away with this video. The fact that she focused on talking about the most Important aspects of life instead of those repeated, monotonous opinions fills me with intense relief. I am doing okay, and trying my best, she just re-affirmed that for me. Thank you so much.❤

@AMII0613

I am turning 20 in 2 weeks and I have realized that growing up is not at all easy..The decisions you take now will result in future so I have to take correct decisions but until now I depended on my parents decisions all the time so It's quite hard to chamge

@astheticliv16

thanks Amy this video is really really helpful 🤗🤗

@riarematos1556

Thank You Amy Wang for posting this video!!! I realized that most of the time, I had a low perception of myself. I always think if things didn't go well then it is my fault. If other people opinions most of the time are better than mine. That other people is better than mine. Somethings like this, makes me doubt myself, felt like im less better, not confident, lower than other people. But in reality, I'm not like that. Maybe this perception of mine is happening because of the past or my environment. But I should not feel that my value is lower than other people, I should not feel that my ideas, my opinion is not as good as other people. I should believe in my own value. So when I watch this video, and find out that I will be okay as long as I realize in my own value, my education, my skills, my habit, and other things, I will be alright. Right now I'm still learning to be more confident and learn to believe in myself more. I hope I'm getting better and better. Once again, thank you Amy!!❤❤

@emryslaurel

I’m happy with how you always end these kinds of videos with prioritizing your happiness and satisfaction in life— many times when I try to be productive, I go too far and end up feeling anxious and worn out, but now I’m learning to enjoy myself while being productive. Thank you so much!
