1. State your intentions.
2. Use imagery to remember
3. Rephrase 5x
4. Learn without ego
5. Connect things together
6. Learn through teaching
7. Set time for silence before bed

@Quartex_3x

Watching videos about "how to study faster and better" is easy but doing it is the main thing

@sunshinetime846

My ego tells me I have no ego,but I do. I’m trying to fix it and this is helping.

@Fleur_Black

For asian like us, our grades are not only just for future money and things but also to make our relatives stomach burn..😂❤
We have those kind of ego..😅

@DaniellaMargaretKayaga

Me realizing why I can remember novels so well and not school work because I picture it I'm my head. I can't wait to try out rule 2

@izzydelphi

I was honestly expecting this to be a big channel with how good the video quality was! In the video, you referred to Chinese characters as "Kanji," but in Chinese, we call out characters "Hanzi." Kanji is the Japanese adaptation of the Chinese language, and is actually different in meanings and pronounciation.

@jiayibai5224

I’m Chinese and have a 4.0, I didn’t even realize these are things I do, except for the rewriting notes part since I usually just do it once bc it’s pretty and only if I have time. It seems so natural to set timelines for each task (pomodoro) and visualize things (recall method, but it only works until Calc comes around 😢). The empty cup thing mainly comes with never being congratulated for achievements lol so you assume you know nothing and go into studying with an open mind. For chain learning my teachers are awesome and my school has a pretty good curriculum so it’s easy to make connections between different classes, especially in AP. As for the study like a sensei thing I have a lot of practice from explaining entire units to my friends when they cram the night before a test lol and for night school that’s just normal studying except I can’t do it every night bc of extracurriculars so I just take whatever time I have and focus, usually takes like an hour or 2 every day to get through all the material. The important thing tho is to do practice problems so you get used to question styling and applications so you can test well. I’m very privileged to have parents who helped me figure out my study habits early on, but if you haven’t figured out yours yet then give these a try. It might work, it might not, but the important thing is to keep experimenting until you find something that does ❤

@study.moneylife

I will learn 4 pages in the 20 mins and quick revise them in the last 5 mins!

@ElenaChen-i1n

As a Chinese student who gets pretty good grades, I don’t do any of these, except for “secret” number 6 like sometimes. And for number four, we do tie ourselves with our grades.

@nouranniii

I'm a sophomore in high school. I'm ambitious but I always struggle with procrastination, inefficiency and inconsistent efforts when it comes to doing my work. I came across this video and I think these tips really changed my insight and mindset towards learning. I will start implementing these techniques into my education journey and my overall life! Thank you!

@Epitemophile

Starting,,,from now on, (in sha allah!)
I will try my best!!!

@tulipx7334

genuinely changedd my life- all of these tips just MAKE sense that they’ll help boost ur study to the max. hope both sides of ur pillow r cold- thank youu sm

@Nimibystar

My grades have actually always been good. But after applying these habits, what was 80%-90% became 90%-100% love it!

@delnadavid2589

Very excited to try out method 1! I tend to sit down knowing what I want to work on, but if I don’t have a clear goal or timeline, I tend to stretch out the amount of time I need to complete something. The focus statement seems like a good way to redirect my focus to completion, and not just passively “studying”!

@armitahassani4811

This is hands down the best studying tips video I’ve EVER watched.
Thank you for being so awesome!

@qdav5

I discovered all of these on my own when I was in college and grad school. The only one I would modify is the Pomodoro Ritual (secret #1). 25 minutes study followed by a 5 minute break is not enough time. You need to be able to concentrate deeply and study for at least 2 hours straight, then take a 20 minute walk.

@huhmhm7592

okay i’m a glass already full but it’s a lot harder to let go of having grades determine our work than you’d think, because they do. you need good grades in order to get recommended for harder classes and in order to get into university. as someone who loves learning, university sounds like somewhere that i would thrive, but it’s expensive. whether or not i get scholarships is entirely tied to my grades

@delusionalaf-b5d

Current--175-200
Goal🏆-- 660+ 🎯

@BaneenMazari

my current grades r A+ but I wanna get 100/100, cuz I rlllllllly want to get into an Ivy League Uni

@Nishant-nb8yf

Intresting, the empty cup mindset question is a trap, no matter what you say u have an ego😂
